A must-have practice amp!
The media could not be loaded.
I’m working on a video review of this amp right now so everyone can hear what this amp sounds like. I just want to write up the review now so I can hopefully help anyone who is deciding whether to buy this amp or not. When I first saw this amp, I’m very skeptical and didn’t expect much about an all-plastic amp. However, as soon as I plug it in my skepticism quickly went away. What I like about the amp:- This little amp is loud! Of course, it’s not going to compete with any drum kit or be as loud as a full stack Marshall. It is loud enough that you can use it for busking and it was loud enough that my neighbor had to come over to tell me that my playing is too loud.- The tone knob is very usable and doesn’t give any weird tonal response. The most useful range is between 9 pm to 3 pm position. At the minimum amount, the tone sounds muffled but could be cool for someone that digs that tone. At maximum, there’s a ton of bite and clarity and will help to cut through the surrounding noise a bit better.- The overdrive channel sounds great and reminded me a lot of Radiohead’s “The Bend” era guitar tone. The overdriven tone is very useful from the lowest to the highest gain setting.- The amp has built-in Bluetooth so you can play along with your favorite songs wirelessly. There’s also a dedicated volume knob for the Bluetooth signal so you can conveniently mix the music and guitar volume accordingly. What I don’t like about this amp:- The overdrive channel is not as loud as the clean channel. So if you’re looking to go back and forth between the two channels in the course of a song, you’ll be greatly disappointed by the drastic volume difference. In fact, the overdrive channel is half as loud as the clean channel which is counter-intuitive. Most of the time, I would expect the overdrive channel to be louder than the clean channel.- The amp is prone to picking up noises from any power source and tv/computer monitors. As long as set the amp away from powerstrips and computer monitors, the amp is dead quiet.- The all-plastic construction makes the amp look like a toy. It also doesn’t inspire confidence about its longevity. I will probably get some sort of a case to help protect the amp during travel. If you’re on the fence about this amp, I would say get it. You won’t be disappointed. Once I finish the review video, I’ll upload it to this review. I’ll also test it with my IR modeling pedals and see how it sounds with the amp. I’ll update this review with my findings.

Great little amp for on the go
Handles exactly as advertised. The Bluetooth is a bonus to add in a music background. Great sound. The mini-amp also doubles as a portable Bluetooth speaker on the patio, on the beach or anywhere on the go. It would be hard to get a better value for the money.

Great sound out of a little box
Has good crunch and nice tone on the clean end. No ringing sounds play when it’s on. Easy to use just plug in and play and has a nice sleek design! Great for someone who’s always traveling or just out of the house and wants to play.

Very good mini portable guitar amp!
I purchased this electric guitar amp for practice. With headphone plugged in, I can practice in late night without disturbing family members. Very portable size and rechargeable features also make it very convenient for gig use.

Small but it works
I just needed a small amp for my electric guitar just to be able to practice. Just a beginner so this is all I needed.

Really ideal grab-and-go practice amp
The media could not be loaded.
So, we really have to manage expectations here – the amp only costs $30, which is cheaper than the name-brand headphone amps you plug directly into your guitar and still have to use headphones with. It’s super affordable, and it has all the typical one-channel practice amp features you usually get, in addition to having bluetooth. It even gives you a volume control for the bluetooth input, which a particular name-brand amp of the same sort does not feature. It cleans up enough, and it has plenty of gain on tap, so it covers a fair amount of ground tonally. For a grab-and-go kind of thing, it’s perfect.

Cute
This little box is easy to operate and has some cool features if you play guitar or other instruments you can plug into an amp. The sound is pretty light with little bass but it’s rechargeable so easy to take anywhere and use for practice. This won’t replace any good amp but you can use it anywhere and it has additional uses like the blue tooth speaker function. The over-drive works and is useable so good for most electric guitars. Recommend.

Really good quality amp/speaker
This product exceeded my expectations. It’s really powerful for its size and the sound quality & build quality seem really good. I’m no expert when it comes to amps or music/sound equipment, but this seems like a really good product. Looks good, functional and small enough to be really portable but still useful. Bluetooth feature works good too if you just want a nice Bluetooth speaker.

Nice, as long as you don’t expect a Marshall half stack
Let’s just get this out there at the start–this is not a performance amplifier. It’s not a Marshall half stack. It’s not a Fender tube amp. It a tiny battery-powered practice amp. And that’s where this thing shines. It’s small enough to toss into a backpack or suitcase and you can use it anywhere you go. Want to practice Sittin’ on the Dock of the Bay while literally sitting on a dock? No problem. Eager to try playing They Paved Paradise in the middle of a parking lot? Go for it! With no need for an electrical outlet, you can play wherever you want.BUT let’s be realistic. This tiny, little, battery-powered amp is going to sound like a tiny, little, battery-powered amp. The clean sound is thin and a little tinny and the overdrive sounds like you’re blowing the cones, but it’s still fun as heck to play through! It’s not very loud, but you don’t need loud when you’re practicing.I’m torn between keeping this little amp in my office for when I feel like taking a break with my travel guitar and giving it to my son to take with him when he starts college in the fall. It’d be perfect for both of these uses.So what about headphones? Well, this amp lets you hook up headphones with a 3.5mm cable, which is great when you don’t want to disturb others with your rendition of Bring the Noise. The sound is better than with the built-in speakers, too. But, even with pro-quality headphones, don’t expect too much. My Sennheiser HD 599s helped, but you’re still dealing with a low-powered, $30 amplifier, so don’t expect too much, either in terms of volume or sound quality. Finally, let’s talk about the Bluetooth input. It was very simple to connect my iPhone to this amp via Bluetooth. Just press the Bluetooth button and it’s ready to pair. No problems whatsoever. But, to be honest, I don’t think I’ll ever want to use this as a Bluetooth speaker for music or audiobooks or… anything, really. High fidelity reproduction is not this amp’s strong suit. You’d be better off buying an inexpensive dedicated Bluetooth speaker. You won’t be able to hook your guitar up to that, but it’ll make your audiobooks and music sound a whole lot better than this amp will. The bottom line: I love this little thing! Yes, it doesn’t sound great, but it’s so much more fun and easy to deal with than my larger amps. I don’t have to drag it out of a closet and plug it in to use it. Which means I’m more likely to practice on this thing than I am on my larger amps (because, yes, I am that lazy). I wouldn’t pay $100 for this amp, but at $30, it is, in my opinion, well worth the money!

Compact Practice Amp
This is a really nice, compact practice amp. It definitely has its limitations, but just the fact that it works and isn’t collecting dust in the corner, waiting for you to stub your toe is a huge plus. The sound quality is adequate. The distortion isn’t great, but it’s good enough for a tiny practice amp. Our original practice amp finally gave up the ghost after more than paying its dues through three new learners and three major moves over the course of many years, and I love this as a replacement. This isn’t a performance amp. This isn’t the amp you want to use to provoke the neighbors to lodge a sound complaint. But this is a solid, inexpensive, compact, rechargeable, portable practice amp.

Priced right for what it offers
My rating is based on what this item costs and what it offers for that price. If you want a portable speaker with guitar-specific features like reverb, delay, amp models, etc, this isn’t it. This is a little rechargeable speaker with a gain knob that provides a decent amount of dirt, but not death metal distortion. You can use a pedal to get more distortion, but the more you add to the chain, the less “portability” becomes a factor. There is a tone knob that actually has an effect, but a versatile amp, this is not.Still, if you only require hard-rock-level distortion, this will do the trick for sitting on your sofa and getting some practice in. I have no tried it as a bluetooth speaker since that isn’t why I ordered it, but from the sound using a guitar, it’s probably on par with other bluetooth speakers in this price range. I do like the separate volume controls for the 1/4″ input and the Bluetooth input.Again, don’t order this expecting the sound quality of a BOSS or Blackstar portable amp — this guy is very basic, and it’s priced accordingly.

Also Works as a excellent Audio Tracer
Really like this unit, it’s compact, powerful audio and can be used to test various audio equipment.

Good budget value
It is cheap, sounds okay, bluetooth works, has all the jacks you need for playing and listening, and the only thing standing in my way was my own busted aux which I eventually got working with some knob adjustments. The speaker volume wheel does not much of any distance between quiet and loud.

Where’s your amp?
This is small. Box of tissues small. People wonder where the amp is.This is very handy. Sounds OK.I haven’t used all of the features yet. I’ve tried enough to know that I’m keeping it.

Small but full of sound
I recently purchased the WEGROWER Electric Guitar Amp, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with my purchase. As a beginner guitarist, I was looking for something compact yet powerful, and this little amp exceeded my expectations. The size is perfect for my needs, making it incredibly portable and easy to store. Even though it’s compact, don’t let the size fool you – the sound is fantastic! The 5W power is surprisingly robust, delivering a crisp and clear tone that suits my learning needs perfectly. One of the standout features for me is the Bluetooth capability. Being able to connect my phone or other devices wirelessly adds a whole new dimension to my practice sessions. The rechargeable battery is a great bonus, making it even more convenient for on-the-go playing.Whether you’re a beginner like me or a more seasoned player in need of a portable practice amp, the WEGROWER Electric Guitar Amp is a solid choice. It’s a fantastic blend of quality sound, portability, and modern features. Highly recommended!

Multipurpose speaker/amp
My wife started playing the guitar about a year ago. I got this so that she could plug in her guitar and hear it in a different way at times. She has a Fender Malibu Player acoustic electric guitar and it sounds great when it’s plugged into it. I wish that it was a little louder but it’s good for the size and meets my expectations.Bluetooth worked fine. Syncing was very easy and flawless. I like the separate knobs to control the volume for the guitar and the bluetooth separately.

Adorable because of it’s size!! It’s proven to be on point. 🧐 It REALLY WORKS. My son loves it!! It’s not as loud as his Fender big amplifier. But, this is pretty powerful. (it’s just right!)

Small, portable. Nice practice amp. Can be used for playing music via Bluetooth.
A nice compact portable practice amp. I do play guitar. With the guitar straight into this amp (using a standard 1/4″ guitar jack) the tone is adequate but very plain. That is, there is no reverb or delay type effects. You can adjust the tone (i.e., bass, treble) with the Tone knob. There is a dedicated Volume knob to control the volume of the connected input instrument. There is a Clean/Overdrive button. This lets you select whether you want a clean sound or an overdrive-distortion sound. There is Gain knob that lets you adjust the amount of overdrive. The sound of the amp is limited. I did try it with some guitar effects pedals such as Reverb, Delay, Chorus. If you have any pedal effects it will liven up the sound considerably. The Bluetooth connectivity worked without a hitch connecting to my iPhone. This is a nice feature of this unit. You can play music from your connected device and use the amp just for music playback. The unit has a separate Volume control for the connected Bluetooth device. With your instrument plugged in you can play along with a song. There is a headphone jack on the back using a wired 1/8″ style connector. Very convenient for quiet practice sessions. With a headphone plugged in the amp speakers are muted and music playback and instrument will only be heard through the headphones. The unit is rechargeable using the provided USB recharge cable.Bottom line is you can’t expect the greatest audio quality from a music amplifier this small and priced inexpensively, but it does do the job adequately for a portable practice amp. The Bluetooth works great and makes this amp very useful for practicing or to use as a music playback amp. Priced fairly..
