Fun beginner plane
This was easy to fly. My kids had lots of fun, the 9 yr old picked up the controls quickly. The landing gear is a little suspect but you don’t really need it.

Performs better than other RC planes in this price range.
I ordered this for myself. I own dozens of RC planes, helicopters and drones. This RC plane outperforms all my other planes from $100 on down. There are two reasons. The first reason is its twin engines. They are more powerful on a fully charged battery. The extra power makes turning easier. The second reason is because of the elevator. None of my other planes have this except for the two that costs over $100. This elevator gives you so much more control over your elevation. The two batteries each last almost 30 minutes on a full charge. The styrofoam body is somewhat delicate so I made sure to practice in an open grassy area. Highly recommended.

Fun RC plane
This is a fun plane, flies fairly good and easy to control. Battery lasts about 10-15 minutes before needing to be replaced with the spare. My only complaint is if the plane crashes into something a lot of the time one of the propellers will come off and I’ve managed to lose 2 of them already. It comes with two spares which is nice, but I’ve looked around and can’t seem to find anywhere to buy replacements.

Awesome plane.
The media could not be loaded.
I’m really into rc stuff but hadn’t ever messed with planes but I’ve got 4 or 5 recently and out of all of them this one is the easiest to fly and if you over water there’s less of a chance of breaking anything. I’d only use it on calm days where there’s little to no wide. Everything is very easy to understand. I would definitely recommend this if you’re looking to get your first rc plane it’s nice but not overly complicated I love it.

Easy to fly, stable in high winds.
This warbird handles easily in the wind. I detailed it to look weathered. Looks realistic as it shoots past. Gotta plan out the landing though cause it needs more rudder authority. Hella fun!

Great starter plane with Elevator Control
Bought this for my 9 year old daughter and we had a lot of fun with it. It’s tough and can withstand many crashes.Be sure to label it with your contact info as it’s very sensitive to wind gusts. We only got to fly it maybe 5 times. While flying the last time it caught an upward gust on full throttle and went out of range of the remote. We watched it fly into the sky until it was so small. I cut the throttle but it just kept going. We never found that plane. It’s also a little misleading the center propeller is just for looks.

Pleasantly surprised by how well it flies.
I’ve been flying electric R/C planes for over 6 years now, and thought it would be interesting to give one of these inexpensive planes a try. I wasn’t sure what to expect of it, but I was surprised by how well it flies. I took it to our local club flying field, and some of the other pilots there also commented on how well it performs. A couple of the landings were, shall we say, less than pretty, but the plane took them in stride with no damage. The photo attached to this review was taken as I was packing up to leave, rather than before the flights. One of the club members has a young son, and now plans on getting one of these to teach his son to fly RC.Many potential buyers will appreciate that the plane is decorated in a scheme more resembling an air-racer, rather than the historical scheme of the WWII Luftwaffe. The main propellor on the plane is not powered, and spins a bit on the airflow as the plane flies. Two small motors, one on each wing, pull the plane through the air, and differential thrust provides steering. The receiver/control board includes a gyro that helps keep the plane level when no elevator input is given, making the plane easier to fly, especially for beginners. This plane comes in under the 250 gram threshold for the upcoming FAA Remote I.D. requirements, and is plenty small enough to fly in a park or vacant ball field. It’s not the kind of model for impressive aerobatics, but for a first RC plane for someone interested in the hobby, it’s an inexpensive option to learn the basics. The instructions that come with the plane are minimal, and one of the things that I feel should be mentioned is that the Lithium-Polymer (LiPo) batteries used in RC planes have some quirks that are important to know. While the listing estimates 20 minutes of flight time between the two batteries included, LiPo batteries should not be run until the motor quits. Additionally, LiPo batteries should not be stored at full charge. Both conditions will lead to battery damage. Plan on about 5 minutes or so of flight time, and then land the plane. If you plan to recharge the battery for another flight, allow it to cool down for a bit before connecting it to the charger. When done flying for the day, store the batteries with the partial charge remaining, and then charge them before the next flying session. Trust me on this – I learned this lesson the hard way.All in all, a fun, decent little plane for a reasonable price.

Fun in the Air and On Water
This is so much fun! We’ve had many hours of fun transitioning from water to air and back again. I’ve got a couple DJI drones and I HOPE they come out with a drone like this with more stability. The problem with this is that because it’s so light, it doesn’t hold up well in a sizeable breeze. We experienced a couple rollovers when a strong breeze happened to hit during taking off from, or landing in, the water. Something about the suction created by contact with the water I guess. Not a BIG deal….actually made it a little more challenging and, thus, more fun. Overall, this is a BLAST!

Easy for beginners. Nice design. Fun to fly.

My son really likes the design. This was his first 3 channel plane and my first RC airplane. We took it out to the field and both flew it without any issues. The flight time and control distance was sufficient. I didn’t have any problems and I flew it pretty far away.I like that it has landing gear. On my first attempt I was able to land the plane successfully on the basketball court. It was easy for my son and I to fly even though we don’t have much experience flying RC planes. I like it a lot and think that this little RC airplane is a lot of fun.

So much fun
My daughters love flying this plane. It was very simple to put together and the instructions were easy to read. It was a little difficult to learn to get it up in the air and keep it up but once they got the hang of it they love it. My youngest that is playing with it is 9 and she was able to get the hang of it. I wouldn’t recommend for younger than 7. You do need space to fly it so on the sidewalk or street would be best. This is not for flying inside the house. It is made out of foam but is pretty durable.
Certe 🧐 –
So awesome I ordered two flying boats
The flying boat can handle a decent amount of wind and is super stable. With an 800mah battery, you get about 10 minutes. When trimmed out, it’ll fly like a ground effect vehicle and go very quick over water. It’s good enough as it is. However, putting some brushless motors on it and changing out the electronics so you aren’t limited by bank and yank angles will allow for basic aerobatics. By far the best sub $100 rc plane on the market.

I haven’t seen many products of this sort, and I have to say, it’s very fun. It’s very satisfying to alternate between modes of remote control that don’t seem as though they should go together. And this plane has three modes like that. Wow.

Very responsive and maneuverable, but the weather/wind really decide when you can fly
The media could not be loaded.
SPOILER ALERT: My video doesn’t actually have any flight time in it because the weather didn’t cooperate with my time spent in California, and I live in the Midwest so it is too cold for me to be flying now that I’m back (mostly just because I don’t want to be out in the cold; sorry! LOL)This is a very impressive RC aircraft that has surprisingly good maneuverability given the fact that it doesn’t have a mechanical left/right rudder. That said, it does have a gyro and mechanically controlled altitude rudder that work together to stabilize your flight. The steering is actually controlled by the propellers themselves, so if you move the joystick left the right propeller will spin faster so it pushes the right side of the plane forward faster thus making the nose turn left… Kind of hard to explain but it works very well.It is pretty quick and durable in terms of surviving a crash into the ground or tree or something along those lines, and unfortunately I never got the chance to see how it handled water impact or landing / takeoff. That said, it is still a lot of fun to fly even if there isn’t water, and I truly believe that the capability to drive it back to yourself if upside down in the water is more than plausible (I explain why in my video).

Good, but avoid ANY wind
This plane is very easy to fly once you get familiar with the controls. It’s made of foam, which might seem worrisome at first, but it’s more than protected in the packaging provided.Being so small, I didn’t expect this to do very well in the wind. It definitely doesn’t, as even the smallest bit of wind will have this plane blowing across the parking lot. I’d say this is a “no wind” plane, as it simply can’t fly stably with anything over 5MPH or so. The big thing to watch out for is gusts, though, as they just take the plane away.Overall, I like the plane. It’s extremely sturdy and didn’t take any damage despite over 20 crashes on pavement (again, not good for wind!). If you get this, I’d just say keep your expectations realistic. Only two propellers spin as the big one is just for show, and flying with wind is out of the question. That said, it is very sturdy and extremely beginner-friendly, so I think it was a success overall.

I’m not sure if this is a greatest trainer. The things that it has going for it make me believe it is a good contender. It has plenty of power so you have more control of it than some others. It weighs 73 gms (2.57 oz). It comes with two 800 mah batteries which is substant5ial considering how small it is. I do not know how long it will fly. I probably should have waited to write a review until I knew. the biggest thing it has going for it is it’s durability. Fly it crash it pick it up and fly again. It takes odd from asphalt and it is easy to hand launch. Eventually you will be able to fly it without crashing.

Excellent little plane
This is an excellent little RC airplane for beginners. Its responsive, simple enough to learn on, and has an active on board stabilizer so you can learn without fear. If you happen to crash, its made of a quality EPP foam and is super flexible. Will be great for anyone looking for a starter or just a fun little park flyer

Awesome little plane
This plane is very easy to fly and has great battery life. The transmitter will beep when the battery gets low. This plane would be good for a beginner… the gyros keep you from getting into trouble. You can push the stick all the way and it will turn very gently – too shallow of a turn in the normal mode. Turn it to high rate to get it to turn faster. I can’t get over how easy this is to fly. We’ve flown it over and over with no issues. Lots of fun!

This was a beginner plane for my 5 year old grandson. He was able to fly it after one try. You don’t need the landing gear. We threw it up and it worked. Just have to learn the controls. You have to wait in between time it’s done flying (or crashing) until you fly it again – Maybe 1-2 minutes. It landed in a tree – just bought another one. Best used in a soccer field or baseball field. We were in what we thought was a big enough field. – nope – lots of fun

The plane is quite fun. It’s very lightweight so needs there to be no wind at all. Feels like a paper airplane with some props. Good practice for a beginner, and survives crashes very well.

Fun little plane
This plane is a lot of fun, especially for the price. I flew it off of a shallow bay for its maiden flight in about 7 mph wind. It has a gyro, and steers by differential throttles so it won’t do a full loop or roll, but you can do some stall/spin type maneuvers. The range is impressive – you would likely lost sight of it before it goes out of range. It is trimmable, and has dual rates. It is surprisingly tough, and can handle a nose dive straight into the water. It would be suitable for a kid, and is fun for an adult. It takes about the same amount of sky as a park flyer, so allow at least a football field’s worth of space to really enjoy it.

An RC Plane for the Young and Old
I am glad to have the DEERC RC Amphibious plane because it comes almost complete with everything needed to fly the plane. I just had to supply the 3 AAA batteries that power the controller, and a USB charger for the plane batteries. The package comes with 2 batteries, one to operate the plane and the other for spare. Also, in case of a bad crash, it comes with a couple of replacement propellers.Even as a novice RC flyer, I found the remote controller quite intuitive to use. The User Manual explains how the joysticks and buttons are used. But knowing how the controller is used is very different from actually flying the plane. I have crashed this plane so many times since I got it, but it has not been seriously damaged so far. It is light and durable and I expect that my grandkids and I will have many hours of fun flying this plane. Maybe they will even succeed in teaching me how to fly it.

Outstanding customer service
I bought this as a birthday present for my 6 years old boy and he loved it. And whenever he goes to the park to play, other kids want to play with him and ask where he got it from. Unfortunately on one occasion, on landing the plane on concrete, one of the propellers got loose and the wires snapped. We contacted DEERC customer service and were pleasantly service how prompt it was. They asked us to send them an email with photos of the plane and the problem, and the next day they sent us an email saying they will send us a new plane and we can keep the broken one. The little one was over the moon. It’s rare these days to find such an amazing customer service!

I received the RC amphibious airplane in good form. It is certainly nice looking. It also included a controller, batteries, a bag with some small replacement parts and a tool. After seeing this I kind of want one too lol. Flying the airplane must be a lot of fun let alone landing on the water. Our grandson is getting this one. Not a toy for young kids unless you want a lot of crashes
First, the big prop on the front of the airplane is fake. The real propellers are on the wings (much smaller with tiny motors) and unlike real airplanes, left/right is controlled by varying the speed of the individual motors.I’ll admit that I can’t fly an airplane, but I am quite competent at crashing one. Unlike most RC toys, this one has a decent manual that focuses on how to fly. Guess I should have studied it.The one-piece plane arrives basically ready to fly. The front and rear landing gear need to be installed and the batteries charged. (Don’t forget 3 regular AAAs for the controller.)As a nice extra, the box, which has a plastic handle, serves as a molded carrying/storage case.I found it funny that the box shows this prop plane in combat with jets.

Fun little flyer, waterproof, great 2nd plane. 2 batteries.
I can assure that the one I received is waterproof as they all should be. I do want to state that be careful when opening the battery hatch as the waterproof gasket can easily fall out and then it isn’t waterproof anymore. I have a spare charger so I am able to charge both batteries quickly and get up and running. It does include a USB charge which can also be used at the field. This is an interesting flyer. A buddy of mine has one at the flying field that I frequent, which also has a water feature, so he would take off on water and land on land or water or vise versa. It is a very stable flyer and does float on water, but I highly suggest absolute calm waters and dead winds. Due to the fact that it has little to no weight it can bounce around a lot in the wind and can easily flip over in the water if choppy. However, don’t let that deter you from trying this little fun flyer out. I’m going to run ice over the decals and freeze them up and quickly rip them off and apply different decals to make it different.Easy to use, great quality and long flying times at roughly 10 minutes per battery. It is foam so it takes a beating and can easily be repaired if needed.

Easy to control, Great for beginners, Good value
The BF-109 remote-control airplane from DEERC is a super fun product, it’s well-built and comes with everything you need. I got this for my 5-year-old boy to start working on his RC skills and he LOVES it it took him a little to get that hang of it but after a short while, he got the hang of it. the kit includes the 2.4GHz remote control (batteries not included), the plane’s landing gear, charging cable, 2x power cells for the plane, and 4x extra propellers. This RC plane has 3 channels and a 6-axis Gyro stabilization system that helps you control the plane more easily making it very easy to use for beginners. you can choose between ground take-off and throwing off also there are 2 speeds to choose from slow and fast.the batteries can hold 15 to 20 minutes so it’s very nice to have a second one for a quick switch to double the fun. just a small tip pick yourself a windless day to fly because this is a super light plane and it will be challenging to fly on a windy day if at all. this is a a great all-around fun

Flies well and seems easy for my 18 year old to control. Speed is consistent and the remote is very user friendly. The plane moves well through the air and responds instantly to commands. I was initially a bit worried because a lot of the plane is foam but it has held up well to crashes. The wheels come off fairly easily but thus far are easy to put back on. Highly recommend.

A Real Joy to Fly!
I’m no stranger to RC airplanes and drones. In fact, I cut my teeth on a delta wing foamie with elevons!I was a bit skeptical opening the box and saw how lightweight this aircraft was. I charged up the batteries and went outside in the field next my house. (You are gonna need a lot of room especially if you’re a beginner…football field…park with no trees, or an open field) I initially noticed that the trim on my elevator was bit off so I attempted to adjust it on the transmitter and that’s when I realized that this little aircraft must have some kind of gyro and flight stabilization installed within because every time I would pitch the plane up or down the elevator would respond in kind!!I gave it full throttle and a gentle toss into the wind and off she went. I took it up to about 200 ft and cut the throttle to about 50% and cruised back and forth. The controls are really forgiving. I then cut the throttle off and it started to lose altitude but was gliding nicely with the flight stabilization not once did it nose dive. I then brought it in for a soft landing. I flew it a little more with the included extra battery. All in all a great little aircraft for the beginning RC pilot or advanced pilot who wants a stable park flyer.

Nice change from drones
Everyone’s flying drones these days, but flying airplanes was the original. This plane is fun to fly, and it’s a slow flyer so you can fly this in a park without worrying about losing it.The turning radius on this guy is a little wide, so you can’t really do aggressive turns or anything. The controls will take some getting used to, as it won’t act like a drone and hover if you let go of the controls. It will require some coordination to fly this, and probably some practice as well. The plane is made of foam, so I’d be gentle when flying this. If you plan on landing this on water, I’d suggest you master the controls before attempting it. It’s a little harder to fly than you think. It comes with 2 batteries to extend your playing time too.I was so excited to try this out in my backyard, and with my very first flight, it got stuck in a tree. Ah, the good ole days. Second flight and I crashed it into a bush. The nostalgia just keeps on giving. The thing is still running strong though! Make sure you have ample space with no obstacles when you’re practicing. Also, I wouldn’t recommend flying this on a windy day.

Very durable considering i crashed it in multiple trees. Really you need a lot of room to fly. It is absolutely imperative that you fly with CALM WINDS. It will make it virtually impossible to fly when its windy. On a calm day it is fun. My son loves watching me fly it and chases after it. Great value for the money. It auto stabilizes and has an anti stall feature 747 max planes.

Flys Beautifully
I’ve been flying for years but needless to say I set this thing on the lake for the first try no hand launch or off the ground straight water and it took right off!!! I dialed in the fine trim as it was in the air and wound up having a blast doing touch and goes on the water and several flights of flawless issues this is an Awesome little plane. It is very little but it will glide with the proper throttle and elevator angle dialed in. I was very impressed with this cheap little plane. I’m used to much lager scale planes but this thing holds up to everything I can throw at it in the air. Very easy to fly with just alittle practice and or if your a seasoned flyer youll love it too im sure!!

Little pricey but easy to fly if you avoid wind.
This is basically a super lightweight Styrofoam plane. In fact it’s so light that you can’t really fly this if there is any find of wind. What happens is the gyro that keeps it level flying seems to get overworked. It seems like it can’t keep up with the buffeting, and if you’re too low to the ground it can go into a spiral and not recover. These days you can get an inexpensive drone that flies longer, can perform lots of tricks in the air, has a camera and will actually follow you, for half the cost of this. Point being, you get this because you want to fly a PLANE. The landing gear is weak, but mine has never came off during takeoff or landing. Speaking of, you CAN take off from very low cut grass, like a golf course green, but for the most part you need a pavement or very smooth level ground. An occasional piece of gravel it may get past, but you can’t fly this from, or land onto even small pea gravel. It’s not very loud, not as loud as a small drone for example. The learning curve to get it up into the air and fly around is not long as it’s easy to fly. Not as long as even a simple drone. The gyro keeps it steady. If there is no wind to whisk it away, you will be successfully taking off and landing after only one or two tries. I give this five stars.

Perfect Gift!
This RC plane has proven to be an exciting source of entertainment, boasting several features that make it a standout choice:First and foremost, it makes for a great gift. Whether for yourself or a loved one, it is a delightful present that promises hours of airborne enjoyment. It is a great beginner plane, and the straightforward controls ensure that the excitement takes center stage without a steep learning curve. However, it’s worth noting that it is sensitive to wind conditions. It performs perfectly indoors; however, its flight dynamics can be disrupted by gusts of wind when being flown outside. For optimal performance, it’s recommended to enjoy the flying experience in a larger room rather than open outdoor spaces. This plane delivers hours of fun. Its easy operation and entertaining flight dynamics make it a fantastic choice for anyone looking to add a touch of aviation thrill to their leisure time.

Amazingly fun little plane
I recently got my hands on this plane, and let me tell you, it’s a blast to fly! Setting it up was a breeze – super easy and it came with everything I needed, which is always a plus. One standout feature is having two batteries included. It’s fantastic because it means more flying time before needing a recharge. Taking off is a piece of cake; it either smoothly glides from flat ground or lifts off effortlessly with just a light toss into the air. Here’s the cool part: the plane turns by speeding up one propeller on one side compared to the other. Surprisingly, the central black prop is just for show – it doesn’t do anything. The real action happens with the two small wing propellers. The tail, meanwhile, only has an elevator, keeping things simple.Inside, the gimbal is fantastic! It makes the plane super stable and almost impossible to stall. Even if you try to make it a bit wobbly in the air for fun, it quickly recovers like a pro.The flight is a joy – stable, smooth, and easy to control. The specified flight time might be a bit generous, but it stays up for a good while. Plus, it soars really high, almost becoming a tiny speck in the sky. Now, here’s the bummer part – my fun adventure took a tragic turn when I accidentally flew it into a tree. It’s still up there, lodged in place. So, be cautious around obstacles! In a nutshell, this plane is a ton of fun to fly, easy to handle, and impressively stable. Just watch out for those trees!

versatile, amply powered, light, fast
This is a great deal. It’s my favorite RC device (is it a plane? it’s more like a sky boat). It flies brilliantly. It lacks the control surfaces to be truly acrobatic (not necessarily a bad thing), but has strong twin engines and a large elevator, and exceptional automated stabilization. My 12yo, who doesn’t fly usually, was able to keep it aloft, in decent wind, no problem, and even did a couple touch-and-gos.I’ve flown at least a dozen flights myself, and this plane is a treat. we love it.We’ve only had a few hard landings, no crashes, but it looks great. For fun, I added carbon fiber supports to make it more rigid. It is a blast. It flies like a boat. You point it into the wind and it plows through it like a ship at see. The range is excellent.Note, due to lack of wings, if you lose too much speed, it will fall straight down like a rock (like an A10), so don’t let that happen. This is not a glider. It is easy to fly, but it’s fairly fast, small, and needs some room. Keep it moving, it is light with strong engines, so use them.I love this plane, I want more!

Surprising Fun Little Ground Speeder!!
Blew my expectations out of the water! Really fun to fly. Can soar, float down, high alpha hover, and cruise. Flies like a car drives. I call mine Chitty Bang Bang.

Easy to fly
I suppose you can take my review with a grain of salt since I’m an experienced RC pilot. I got this for my son who is 6 about to turn 7. He has zero flying experience. My first impressions after flying several different types of plans was very positive. It was smaller than I expected. The front prop is just for looks FYI as the two smaller motors on the wings provide the differential thrust to turn. There is no rudder. I’ve never been able to fly a plane in my backyard as there simply hasn’t been enough room. This one was the first plane I’ve ever been able to do that with. There must be some sort of plastic body underneath the foam as it feels really solid underneath. It feels like it could take a beating. It holds altitude well and is designed to be very stable. I think it’s going to be easy to fly for my son and I’m excited to use this plane to hopefully get him into the hobby. Inside the box they did a great job with providing spare parts, extra battery, props, screwdriver, etc…. I like this little plane a lot more than I thought I would and would highly recommend it.
