Super happy
Love this set. Perfect for beginners with ambition. Having a bag with your paddles is a must. So happy that I did not go for the super cheap ones. Love the look, how they play. Super happy.

Excellent set for beginners!
Very nice pickleball set with convenient carrying case & set of 4 balls.

Recreationally affordable
I play recreationally so didn’t need an expensive racquet. This two-racquet set was perfect for my needs because I had one for me and one for a friend or as a backup if one breaks. After playing with it 5 times I’m very happy with the racquets. I recently learned though that the balls that came with the set are for indoor play. The description said there would be outdoor balls included. But like I said, I play recreationally so it doesn’t matter to me. The balls bounce and can be wacked. 🙂

Good paddles
I’m a super beginer but the paddle has a nice weight and the grip on the paddle allows for some pretty good spin.

What a racket
I’ve only used this paddle once so far and it is a very good racket. I was surprised at how fast I was able to adapt to them, having used an 8-year-old wooden racket before. I have not mastered getting enough top spin yet but feel confident I’ll be able to do that over the next couple of weeks. Highly recommend this product.

Positive Experience
Unfortunately, the Uteeqe paddle, that I was using, cracked within the first 10 hits. After leaving a less than positive review on Amazon, I was happily surprised to receive an email from a Uteeqe rep explaining that all Uteeqe paddles pass strict quality checking before sending them to the Amazon warehouse, but these things still happen in rare cases. Uteeqe promptly offered a replacement, which I accepted. Thank you Uteeqe for standing behind your product!

Super nice set of paddles
Our first upgrade from the cheap plywood paddles. These are light and feel really good in the hand. Took an adjustment to be able to use a nice paddle, but WELL worth the money!Yes I would say you’ll be happy with these at least as an intermediate player

Check item carefully- update
This is the second set I ordered. First one came with four balls. This order came with two clearly used balls. The paddles look OK. I suspect this was a returned item they sent me.Update: seller provide a credit which covered my purchase of new ball. Great customer service and response. These have been great paddles for indoor and outdoor recreational use.

Great for Beginners
The material of the paddles is great. I like that it comes with a case too. I got mine for a discounted price. I am not sure if I would have bought this for the original price.

Nice quality for the price
I can’t think of anything I dislike. They work good and they have a nice case that fits 4 balls and 2 paddles (what it comes with)I bought these because they were cheaper and they haven’t disappointed me.

Our awesome new paddles
My daughter and I just started learning the game of pickleball and we were hooked right away. These paddles are our first; we purchased them based on the great reviews and ratings, price, design and look. Other paddles we researched were too busy looking, heavier, gaudy with fewer stars in the ratings. We used them for the first time this evening and loved how lightweight they were and how comfortable they fit in our hands. I think we hit more shots based on the larger paddle size. Looking forward to putting our paddles to use all summer and becoming better players.

Paddles are fine
We are just learning to play pickleball. We tried a couple of paddles while taking a local class and talked to our instructors. These paddles are just fine for us. I researched grip sizes – which appears to be an important criteria – and ordered the size I thought we needed. These fit our hands well and I like the ridged seams that help with the grip. The only thing that I was not real happy with is the carry bag that comes with it. At a minimum, it needs a strap so you can carry it over your shoulder. It also isn’t the most fashionable accessory that I’ve ever seen. I decided to use my old racqetball bag that’s more 30 years old instead.

quality gift to start family with pickle ball
As I was new to pickleball, I picked up one racquet at a tennis store and another at a big box retailer. I liked the tennis store pickle ball racquet but did feel I paid too much both places. With a better idea of what I wanted, I spent time researching options online. I was very happy to receive what I considered two quality racquets for this price. The Uteeqe raquets stand up to my friends’ racquets in balance, weight, grip and texture on the paddle surface. I tried this racquet before giving as a gift to family members. I was happy to play with these and they are definitely a better value.

No balls, but made good on it without me asking!
Product was advertised as ready to go, two paddles, carrying case and four balls! Got everything but the balls, now I gotta go in search of pickle ball balls, not real pleased!Addendum:Seller read my review, reached out to me and offered a full refund. I asked if they could just send me the balls and said they could, sent me 6 balls rather then the four and a package of pens! Thank you!

So far so good
I am a beginner pickle ball player and these seemed like a good balance for light weight with some power. So far so good. It has fit the bill and I am enjoying using them. Since they are fairly new I cannot speak to their durability, but I find them very comfortable to hold and the sweet spot seems fine. I may find I need more power as I progress but for me at this point they were a good value.

Can’t Go Wrong With These paddles
The are amazing for beginners and for advanced. I’ve played up against 3.75+ and had no issues winning against them and there high end paddles. It’s a paddle you can use for awhile.

Perfect Birthday Gift
As someone who has never played pickleball I was at a loss when I decided to purchase new paddles as a birthday gift for my daughter’s boyfriend (recreation player). After much research on paddle shape, weight, sweet spot etc and after reading a lot of Amazon reviews I decided on these. They played the same day he got them. When I checked with him to make sure he was happy with them this was his response, “They’re awesome! These paddles are hot!” I am so happy with the purchase.

Nice racquet and case
First time players, and the raquets, case, and bag were nice. We also have smashball paddles, so we tried playing with those too. While giving more power than the raquets here, the smashball paddles are quite a bit noisier. The Uteeqe rackets are easy to hold and much quieter, and not so overpowered so as to make your opponent run all over the place. It’s a nice package, but seemed a little pricey. $40 would have seemed a more reasonable price, but I guess everything is going up.

Very light weight
I’m a beginner so I don’t have much to compare with regard to other paddles but I have to say that these paddles are amazingly light in weight and seem to be very well made. I played pickle ball with them for the first time yesterday and I’m quite pleased with the feel and control I have with them. They come with 2 indoor balls which we used yesterday even though we were playing outdoors. (Other more experienced players pointed out to me that the indoor balls are slightly smaller and lighter weight than an outdoor ball). So I am taking advantage of Uteeqe’s offer of a free gift of 3 outdoor balls. Overall I think these paddles are a great value.

A great kid for beginners
If you’re not sure if you want to play like a while or not this is cost effective way to figure it out. The paddles are decent but the poles are not “official” USAPA balls. However this is a great way to figure out if you’re into the game or not at all and then if you like it you can invest in better paddles and balls.

My wife and I had noticed this pickle ball thing when we stayed at our timeshares and in RV campgrounds and wanted to give it a try, but hadn’t got around to it. We found ourself at a timeshare in SoCal during the pandemic and with the gym closed we were looking for some exercise besides hiking. We found the Uteeqe Pickleball Set on Amazon. TBH, I have nothing to compare this set to, but they sure met our needs.

Good paddle and the company stands behind it’s product
We really enjoyed these paddles when we got them, but unfortunately one of them broke the third time we used them. We bought 2 other paddles and I can honestly say that neither of us liked the second paddles as much as the Uteeqe paddles. I am pleased to say that Uteeqe was not happy that the paddle broke and wanted to take care of the problem for us. I received a new paddle from them today at no charge. Unfortunately, it’s too windy here to try out the paddle tonight, but we will be playing pickleball as soon as we can and look forward to using both Uteeqe paddles. I would recommend the paddle for playing pickleball.

This was our first set when we began to play pickle ball. Our instructor found it quite satisfactory and we have continued to enjoy the game using this same set. Decent Paddle for Beginner
Fairly lightweight and seems fairly durable and only about $25/each in two-pack with free practice balls and case can’t be beat. I only wish the surface was a little rougher and that the handle was a little longer (I have large hands). No way to use two hands.

Quality beginner paddles
I purchased 3 sets of pickleball paddles from different brand names. The consensus from my wife and children (boy & girls from 11 to 18) is these are the preferred paddle. The weight of the paddle is comfortable for the 5 different people in my household who have played (everyone a first timer using the 3 different paddles). The grip is comfortable and the paddle gives the impression you know more about the sport than our collective skills have demonstrated!I play more consistently and a bit more competitively than my children (more for social and health than with any intent to compete, e.g. no tournaments are in my future). Also, I play outdoor only (Phoenix area!) One of the things I have enjoyed has been that as my hands start to sweat I don’t feel like my grip slips. This was a worry when first handed a paddle to borrow. I am quite pleased with these paddles and feel like we will be able to use them for years to come (realizing the lack of regular use will artificially increase the “life” of the paddle). I would recommend this brand to anyone who is interested in trying out the game. The “bag” appears to be descent quality and makes it easy to transport both the 2 paddles as well as the 4 balls. My family definitely feels we got good quality for the cost and will enjoy playing!

First time Pickleballers!
We went to our introduction into pickleball and really had fun. So, the next step was to purchase our own paddles. You’ll want a paddle with a little grit to it and a good size paddle surface. This set checks both those boxes. It comes with 4 balls and a nice zipper case. A great value. This set is great for the beginner and intermediate level.

Durable construction
I recently purchased the Uteeqe Pickleball Paddle and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance and quality. The paddle has a comfortable grip and a well-balanced weight, making it easy to handle during play. The surface of the paddle provides excellent ball control and I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my shots since using it.What sets the Uteeqe Pickleball Paddle apart is its durable construction. The paddle is made from high-quality materials that can withstand intense play, making it a great investment for serious pickleball players. I also appreciate the stylish design of the paddle, which adds a touch of personality to my game.Overall, I highly recommend the Uteeqe Pickleball Paddle to anyone in the market for a new paddle. It’s a great combination of performance, quality, and style that will take your pickleball game to the next level.

Great set for someone new to pickle ball
All the positive review seem very accurate. I love the set and am playing well with them. A tennis player so pickle ball not hard to pick up. I don’t see the need to buy some $130 paddle that some have. Have tried a couple of them and can’t tell the difference. As they say, it is not the paddle, racquet or golf club that makes the player! A very fun game to play with this set.

Great Set for Beginners and Intermediate players!
I grew up my whole life playing paddleball, tennis, and racquetball. The handles for each of those sports vary in width, shape, and length. I had a chance to play Pickleball for the first time at a Maui rental home.Definitely wanted to get my own sets. These Uteeqe handles corresponds well in my opinion for beginners and more advanced players for Pickleball. The grip is reassuring and firm. For Pickleball, having a light paddle is great for close to net volleys. Having some traction on the face is amazing for slicing and topspins. These attributes come in this package. Well priced and sporting a carry all case is a bonus. Color scheme is good on the eyes. It is a win win. My wife and I truly enjoyed playing with these paddles. The included balls are fine for fun level of activity. I recommend overall.

Good value for entry level racket set
I bought this set before I really started playing a lot and was happy I found it. I play with friends 1-2 times/week so nothing serious. I like that it didn’t cost a lot but my favorite thing is everyone’s comments on how killer my spins are. I do wish I had a little more control with dinks at the net though. I think if you stay midcourt to baseline with this you will do well.I originally had this rated at 3 Stars but have changed it to 4 stars based on two things:1) Reevaluating it as more of an entry level paddle instead of comparing to other $100+ paddles. I mean you get 2 paddles for $50-60 so definitely good value there. I think this is a solid Paddle for anyone playing with friends, especially if their game is staying mid court and use a lot of spin.2) I have been in contact with Uteege’s customer service and it is clear they look out for their customers and are wanting to put out a good product. I am supposed to be getting a sneak peek at a new paddle they are coming out with so I am excited to see what their next generation paddle is capable of.Also, the bag is nice and a good bonus. I haven’t used the balls yet, as they are outdoor balls and I have only been playing indoor, so I can’t comment on their quality.

light weight and good size
I am a beginner beginner player! I have only played twice, but fell in love right away. I ended up using 3 different borrowed paddles, of the 3, the Uteeqe was was my favorite, so I bought it! – I don’t have very much to go on, but the 3 things I liked are; Its NOT wood, I did not like those at all, to heavy and the face was smaller. The Uteeqe is very light and the size of the handle and the paddle just “felt right” for me. For reference, I am in my 60’s, moderately active, I have slender long hands and fingers (mens’ gloves often fit me better than a ladies )

Very Impressed with the Uteeqe Pickleball Paddles!
We love everything about this paddle! The weight of the racket is perfect. The grip is excellent. The reaction of the ball hitting the surface of the paddle was impressive. We had excellent control and could slice the ball or put topspin in our returns. And the paddles look good too! We love that the paddles came in a carrying case and came with four high quality pickleballs. We’re impressed with this product!

You will never regret buying this paddle
One of the best starter paddles that even an experienced pickleball player can use. One player who bought a pricy franklin signature paddle after using my spare paddle for a few days, swears he was playing better when using the uteeqe. Ofcourse he did manage to adapt to the franklin after a week of playing. But what it really means is the uteeqe plays really well and punches above its weight class.

It’s good for now, but once I keep playing for a while I’m going to need to buy one for more experienced players. But for now it’s perfect.

Great Paddle set for an awesome price.
I bought this paddle set over other ones because i was wanting something with a textured surface so i can put some spin on the ball. This was the only one i could find with a rough texture surface that wasnt over $50 per paddle. I have had this set for 1 month and im really loving them. Im able to put spin on the ball and the paddle is lightweight and comfortable. These paddles have a good sweet spot and have a very satisfy sound when hitting the balls. Overall very happy with the purchase and would recommend to anyone. In fact i have let friends use them and they have bought them too. you wont be disappointed.

Honest review, 6+ months in
I bought this paddle set back in July 2022, back when I was still relatively new to pickleball (both the game and the equipment). Now that I’ve “been around the block” for a while, I feel I can finally give an honest review.First, let me just start by saying that if you are buying your first set of pickleball paddles, there isn’t a massive difference between most of them — and I wouldn’t be surprised if 90% of them are made in the same factory in China. In my opinion, the most important features of a paddle set are a relatively reasonable price (no need to get ripped off), USAPA Approved status (make sure to verify the approval status on the USA Pickleball website, as there’s LOTS of false advertising on Amazon), and warranty (this set effectively comes with a 2-year warranty if you register after purchase, which is fantastic). Don’t worry too much about the balls that come with the set; yes, some provide indoor vs. outdoor vs. hybrid balls, but nearly all the balls that come with pickleball sets are of middling quality — you’ll have to buy the higher quality balls separately. That being said, if you lurk on the r/Pickleball sub-Reddit page, you’ll note that this set is a favorite among the sea of cheap, beginner paddles. Before upgrading to the paddle I play with today, these were my favorite paddles to play with. Here’s why:• LIGHTWEIGHT — The “hand feel” of this paddle is both light and balanced, which I found encourages (especially beginner players) to learn more technique to control the ball rather than rely on the paddle’s features/weight distribution to affect play.• MORE “GIVE” — Many other pickleball paddles are top heavy, allowing for more power. When I started playing pickleball, I had the tendency swing very hard. This paddle gave me a better understanding of how to control my swings. This is also (slightly) more of a “control” paddle than a “power” paddle (I put these word in quotes since the differences are small but still noticeable), as the paddle absorbs more of the hit than many other paddles (particularly fiberglass-faced paddles that give more of that powerful “popping” sound and feel on each hit).• RELATIVE GRIT – These paddles indeed have a slight graphite grit that can better allow you to make more creative plays (spins, slices, etc.). I should caveat that the grit, while not insignificant, is not a huge difference-maker either. It wears off over time, unlike paddles with true carbon fiber faces.• USAPA APPROVED – Yep, these are the real deal. It’s crazy how many non-approved paddles are sold as “Approved” on Amazon! All in all, I don’t think you can go wrong with these paddles — and clearly the many 5-star reviews back me up. Being beginner paddles they will degrade over time (e.g., develop dead spots) more quickly than the expensive paddles, but hey they do the job. If you start playing more competitively, you’ll probably want to consider upgrading to a better (more expensive) paddle.Final thought: If you are open to buying a few sets of relatively cheap pickleball paddles for recreational/novice play, I might recommend getting different types of paddles to include in your rotation. Here’s an example list (all USAPA Approved):• Graphite Face – These Uteqee U1 paddles• Fiberglass Face – Stonecho S1, several Niupipo models• Carbon Fiber Face – LARMNEE LPKM 1.0 (has a T400 carbon fiber face — nothing to write home about but also not a bad option to try out)As you start playing more, you’ll get an idea of which paddle type you prefer, including differences in paddle shape (long & narrow vs. short & wide), paddle weight, paddle core thickness, paddle face material (graphite vs. fiberglass vs. carbon fiber), handle girth and length, weight distribution (e.g., heavier head), etc. Many experienced pickleball players will tell you that you’ll just need to try out different paddles to see what you like!

very nice paddle. great price
I use this paddle mostly for outdoor play. Not a soft as the $$ ones but still a good touch. The handle is less square and the grip is nice. Good abrasive surface that can spin the ball.

Elevate Your Game with these Majestic Rackets
As a 25-year-old avid pickleball player with two years of competitive play under my belt, I have tried numerous paddles in my quest for the perfect game. The Graphite Surface Pickleball Paddle with High Grit & Spin has been a game-changer in my collection, even surpassing some of my most expensive buys. The graphite surface of this paddle is exceptional. It provides a high-grit texture that significantly enhances spin control. This feature has been particularly beneficial for my game, allowing me to execute precise top spins and back spins with ease. One time I broke a competitors ankles with my topspin!! The added spin capability has given me an edge over my opponents, making my shots more unpredictable and harder to return.USAPA approved is also good. One of the standout features of this paddle is its lightweight polymer honeycomb core. This construction provides a perfect balance between power and control. The lightweight nature allows for quick maneuverability, making it easier to react to fast shots and volleys. This makes al my shots extremely accurate! The non-slip grip is another highlight. It has served its purpose in many games I have been through.Despite its many positives, there are a couple of minor downsides. The high-grit surface, while fantastic for spin, will wear down overtime, unfortunatly. Regular players might find themselves needing to replace the paddle more frequently to maintain optimal performance. Additionally, the lightweight design, while great for maneuverability, might lack the desired power for players who prefer a heavier paddle for more forceful shots.Overall, I would recommend this paddle for intermediate players, or beginners looking to elevate their game. I still choose this racket over some of my most expensive buys during some games, and I am looking forward to the other rackets this company has to offer!

A perfect paddle for beginners and intermediates!
As an advanced beginner in pickleball, with decades of experience in just about every other racquet sport out there, I was shopping for a high-quality paddle at a budget price. A lot to ask, I know; but I was determined. I had done my research beforehand, and had specific criteria in mind. Otherwise, it would have been a nearly impossible task to wade thru the hundreds of confusing choices on Amazon. Most of the “name-brand” paddles start in the $80 to $100 range, with some “pro models” hitting $200+ (the Joola Ben Johns Hyperion, for example). I definitely was looking for something much more affordable, but without sacrificing anything on my check list.First of all, I wanted a “standard” shape and overall dimensions (nothing elongated or wide-body). Then, I opted for a graphite/carbon fiber surface (vs. wood or fiberglass), with a polymer honeycomb core. Lightweight was important, but not overly so. I didn’t want a paddle so light that it would compromise power, so I strove for 7.8 ozs, with a max of 8 ozs. I also wanted a 5″ handle, with grip circumference no more than 4.25″.Regarding this last detail, I had to eliminate many paddles from dozens upon dozens of candidates because they came with a 4.5″ grip. A thicker grip circumference is perfect for those with very large hands, or for those used to the fat grip of a tennis racquet. Personally, I’ve become very accustomed to the thinner grip of my Head racquetball racquet (4″). Plus, I wear a leather glove while playing. So, for me 4.125″ to 4.25″ is the ideal compromise for pickleball. Even a 4″ grip would be fine, because I could always add overgrip tape to a thin handle, but little can be done if the handle is too thick to begin with.On paper, at least, the Uteeqe Model U1 paddles fit all my criteria; plus they were very well-reviewed. I finally narrowed my choices down to a couple of different brands, including the Uteeqe Model U1 set, which had bonuses of 4 balls and a carrying case.I decided to order the Uteeqe 2-paddle set, as well as sets from a couple of other companies, for the sake of comparison. I figured it doesn’t hurt to have extra “guest” racquets lying around. Worse comes to worse, as a”Prime” member, I could always do a free return to Amazon within 30-days.My Uteeqe set was delivered the day after I ordered. I unboxed it, and was immediately impressed with how well everything was packed. No issues whatsoever with any item having dents or scratches, and all advertised contents were included. The 4 yellow outdoor pickleballs are of much higher quality than the usual throwaways that come standard with discounted sets. The zippered case is nicely constructed and well-padded. I wish it were a bit more roomy inside, or had an attached mesh pocket to store extras (keys, cell phone, wristbands, etc). Yet, although very compact, the case holds all the contents of the set perfectly and securely (both rackets and the 4 balls fit…see photo). It has a handle (but no shoulder strap…not a biggie for me), and its two zippers each unzip down the sides about 7/8 of the way. Very nice!As for the paddles themselves…they looked awesome right out of the box. The moment I picked one up, gave it my favorite shake-hands grip, and did a few air swings, everything felt perfect. So, did the Uteeqe paddle check all of my boxes? Well, to be honest, not 100%, at first. For instance, each racket weighed in at 7.6 ozs…which is lighter than the advertised “estimated” weight of 7.8 ozs. I also used a tailor’s tape measure for grip circumference, and it came out to be slightly more than the advertised 4.25″. (See photos.)I complained in an email to their Customer Service dept. I am happy to report that they stepped up in a very timely manner to resolve these issues to my complete satisfaction. It really says something when a company stands behind its products. It’s gratifying to know that Uteeqe is a reputable company, aiming to build a strong and loyal client base in this burgeoning domestic and global pickleball market. Here’s what I learned from their Customer Service specialists…The grip circumference should be a little bit larger because it includes the cushioned ribs, which were were designed to be anti-slip between each finger.I also am aware that even expensive paddles can only promise a range of weight, which could vary by as much as .6 ounces! There are numerous brands of (inexpensive) adhesive lead tape that Amazon sells to bulk up the paddle by a half-ounce or so.Of course, the proof is in the performance. After hours of playing with the Uteeqe I was very pleased with my paddle. The grip, although slightly thicker than I’m used to, felt very comfortable and non-slip. The racket exhibited excellent control, and had a generous sweet spot. With its subtly textured surface, I was easily able to generate decent topspin and backspin. And the lightweight nature of the paddle did not produce any hand, wrist, or arm fatigue, even after 2 hours of playing. What the paddle lacked, though, was power. Perhaps with the additional weight from lead tape, I would be more likely to generate additional power. For beginners, however, the most important element is control, and I feel this is where the paddle excels. All in all, given the excellent value, product quality, extras, and customer service, I would highly recommend the Uteeqe Model U1 set to any beginner or intermediate-level player. Five stars!!!

Great value
For the price you cannot beat the quality of this paddle. First impression also great in terms of packaging (nice box and air bubble wrapped paddles. Perfect for the beginner who is looking to upgrade to a paddle that will allow you enhance your game. The textured surface was exactly what I was looking for as I like to play with a lot of spin shots. I can see a very noticeable difference from the smooth surface paddles in terms of a higher ball spin rate. Paddle handle is on the longer side compared to some others that a bit shorter. Upside is that it allows you to get to shots that may be slightly out of reach. Sound of the ball off the paddle is not as loud as others I have tried. Overall very please with the purchase for the price.

I am new to pickleball Not sure if this is beginner only paddle or this makes top end paddle? Seems like not a great sweet spot. I like the handle but would prefer a larger sweet spot and more of a grainy surface so I can get more spin. Price was competitive. Great company and great customer service. Highly recommend.

Happy with my purchase
I will start by saying I am fairly new to the sport. This is the second set of paddles I’ve had access to and I am very happy with the purchase. Nice grips and I feel like I have better control of the ball than I did with the previous paddle I used. Bag is very functional. I would buy this set again. If there is any complaint at all the balls that come with this paddle set seem a bit less bouncy than the Onix balls I purchased at the same time, but are still very usable.

The center pop zone is great!Good surface for spin.Beginner/ intermediate paddlesI would say a 12 feel, for more pop and control look for a 14 or 16.Balls have more bounce and are softer then x40’s.

Good for beginning and intermediate level play, perhaps even advanced levels!
I just started playing pickleball last August and wanted a decent starter set, something I could use well beyond my novice level. I quickly progressed and am probably among the better players where I play. I still use these paddles and have no plans to “upgrade.” I see people with more expensive paddles (like $150-$200 per paddle), and do not see that they have any advantage over me with my Uteeqe paddle!(4 months later) After having tried other paddles, some way more expensive, I feel better and better about these Uteeqe paddles. Other paddles do not feel as solid or have the control. One day I went to play but when I got to the courts I realized my paddles were at home. A couple of people offered to lend me a paddle, but I declined and went home to get my Uteeqes!!! Now that I am no longer a novice and have developed my own style and preferences, the only reason I would “upgrade” to another paddle is to get one with a higher coefficient of friction so I can impart more spin. But without being able to try a new paddle, I am apprehensive to buy one not knowing if it will have the same “nice feel” as these Uteeqes.

Perfect all in one set, not noticeably rough on one side
My wife and I just started learning Pickleball, so we decided it was high time to get our own paddles. I opted for this set because the price was right for beginners, it comes with everything you need for two people to play, and they look cool. I also liked the idea that one side was a bit more textured for spin shots. When this set arrived, I was very pleased. These appear to be quality construction, nicely compact, and just perfect for beginners. I couldn’t actually tell if one side was rougher than the other, but overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. After I play with them a while, I will update this review with my results.

A good set for an even better price. The rackets are textured so you can put spin on the ball. Set comes with two rackets, 4 balls, and a carrying case. 6 months after purchase, I recommend this product
Bought 6 months ago and I play in an outdoor league 3 times a week. Everything is holding up well. A few scratches on the plastic guard around the paddle from me trying to hit the low balls but otherwise like new. I really like the grips on these paddles and they are still in like new condition. I use the bag and one of the paddles all of the time, haven’t used the balls since the league supplies those. So after 6 months of use everything is still in good shape so I would recommend this set.

Good for beginners or a cheap purchase
These paddles are great for beginners. You can feel a weight difference between these and the more expensive brands. Because these are a lot lighter you won’t get a lot of force with your swings, but they work fine if you’re a decent non competitive player. I also love the holding case they come with.

Great spin
Bought these paddles after borrowing a friend’s paddle for too long and searching for a paddle I could spin the ball with. I really enjoy playing with this paddle and as someone who’s played a lot of ping pong, I really like the amount of spin I can put on it, especially for the price. I didn’t see a lot of people playing with these and began to wonder if I was missing out on better paddles from the big names. I recently bought a paddle from a big name brand that was more expensive and was really disappointed. Switched back to the Uteeqe after one game. Probably going to buy another set for the rest of the family. Also, I really like the grip (it has like a raised piping).

These paddles are great for beginners and up to intermediates. They are lighter and better performing than wooden and have some give and spin. They won’t rival the regulars $150 dollar paddles but its a great place to start.

Wonderful intro to this fun family activity.
Neighbors asked us to join the revolution. We borrowed their rackets the first time and immediately loved pickle ball. We promptly went online and purchased our own rackets. Each set of two came with three balls. The rackets are wonderful. They have just enough texture to add some spin if you want to elevate your game. My one nit to pick is with the balls. They’re not the best quality, but Uteeqe does offer to send a free gift with purchase. One of the options is three Onix outdoor balls. If they pan out I’ll update this review. Happy pickling.

Great paddles and great value!
Received a set of paddles for bday and liked them so much we bought another set so the whole family can play. So now I have 4 paddles. We have used them several times now and are happy with how they play. The handles are nicely rounded (not squared off like other paddles) and the size for these paddles are 4.25 inch circumference which are just right for fit various hands sizes in the family…not too big nor not too small and are very comfortable. The set also comes with 4 outdoor pickleballs which is convenient when beginners play so as not to be chasing balls all the time. Also comes w/ a nice bag to hold both paddles and balls. Great buy! Recommend!

If you’re looking for a very light paddle with great grip feel, this is the paddle for you. Make sure you are getting the updated version- they are much better.

Uteeqe Pickleball Paddles
Perfect set of Beginners to Intermediate. These have some texture to the paddles surface. Not as much as the expensive paddles, but more than the cheaper paddles have. I am not disappointed with this purchase.

Perfect for beginners and beyond!
This was our first set when we began to play pickle ball. Our instructor found it quite satisfactory and we have continued to enjoy the game using this same set. Although I now have an additional pricier paddle, I shall always go back to this one on occasion as it has a comfortable grip, nice sweet spot and perfect weight and overall size.

Can’t Go Wrong With These paddles
The are amazing for beginners and for advanced. I’ve played up against 3.75+ and had no issues winning against them and there high end paddles. It’s a paddle you can use for awhile.

Perfect starter set
The center pop zone is great!Good surface for spin.Beginner/ intermediate paddlesI would say a 12 feel, for more pop and control look for a 14 or 16.Balls have more bounce and are softer then x40’s.

Compared to other paddles I’ve used, these seem rather small. Otherwise, they’re fine.UPDATE:The Seller was great and refunded my money and sent other paddles to try out.

EXCELLENT PADDLE/GREAT VALUE
This is a USAPA approved paddle. This is a great value and the paddles are excellent with no issues. I am a novice player and I can not speak for seasoned advanced players that use expensive paddles. I truly like and recommend these paddles for anyone looking to get into pickleball and not sure what paddle to buy.

Value priced paddels
I play tennis but I am a beginner to pickleball. I always tell people that the equipment is the least of my problems. So I bought these so I could coax some of my friends into trying out PB. I am currently in my second class and the paddles seem to do as expected. I think the combination of 2 paddles and balls is a good value.

My Two Cents –
Great quality, suits an aggressive beginner quite well.
Very well made. Features are exactly as described in the listing. I like the surface which seems to grip the ball better. The handle is comfortable and has good diameter for a medium sized hand. Downside for a beginner is that the sweet spot does not feel very large. It’s also a bit thicker in the paddle but I haven’t noticed any issue with that. Very happy with the purchase.

Light and easy to handle for beginners
As new to this sport I like how light and easy to handle these paddles are. I get around quicker and am able to place spins on ball. Also very durable. Would recommend these paddles to all beginners! Price was very affordable.

Seems like a great deal, nice paddle, very reasonably priced for back up paddles.
They weight just over 7.5 oz., I really like the grip and everyone on line says that the rougher texture on the face is helpful during play.

Misleading Weight, but still a decent paddle for the money (updated)
Although the paddles are lightweight, I was surprised to see a number of people playing with them and playing really well. I guess it’s more about the player than the paddle. After playing with the U1 (this product) and also U2 Pro, the newer model, I can say the Uteeqe’s technology is pretty good and still affordable to most players, especially for beginners.Uteeqe’s customer service were very responsive and accommodating. I ended up receiving a new set, the newer model, which was heavier and much suitable for me and my wife. It’s always a pleasure to be able to easily communicate with customer service and receive timely messages with updates. I was impressed with Uteeqe’s flexibility and the options they provided as a solution.Certainly recommend them and will be looking forward to doing more business with Uteeqe and playing with their newer paddle models and other products.

Exceptional paddle for the price.
I just used this Uteeqe racket for the first time today. I bought quantity 2 rackets and my girlfriend and I love them. I like the handle as it is not super long and the grip is comfortable and fits my hand perfectly. As for the face of the paddle, there is definitely a “sweet” spot that you will be able to feel once you get used to the paddle. The rough surface of the paddle also helps for spinning. When comparing this paddle to more expensive models like Head, there is no question that this is the best value for your money. Oh also I don’t like the look of a lot of companies paddles. They look tacky and cheesy. This Paddle is hands down one of the most visually appealing paddles I have seen!

Great paddles for the price
I really like this pickle ball set. It’s light weight and is comfortable to hold. If I had to say a weak point, it’d be that the grip could be more comfortable. However, for the money, I’m very satisfied. I’ve had my set for a few months and the paddles have held up well. My friend has had his for a year and they’ve held up well. Maybe it could come with 2 indoor and 2 outdoor balls instead of 4 indoor balls.

Pleased and Surprised by the Quality
After doing too much research, we purchased these paddles because they were top rated for Beginner/Intermediate by the Pickle Ball Assoc of America. We play against several other couples, so we get to compare lots of different gear. We’ve found that these Uteeqe paddles are of higher quality than the other paddles in the similar price range, and they do play better. The paddle has playability from the entire paddle face, very predictable, the handles never lose grip, and the edges degrade very little from court surface contact. (My wife sometimes comments that she wishes the paddles were prettier, but I’m glad they’re not!) After a full season of play, they still look new and play great!

Great value. Use the paddles and bag, buy different balls
Great way to get into pickleball, 2 paddles work great and the bag and balls are a nice bonus.. but give the balls to your kids and go buy some Franklin X-40 or Dura Fast balls so you’re using a more widely used/enjoyed ball. The paddle grip isn’t overly long so if you’re a “two-handed backhand” player you may want something longer. However, if you use one-hand and are just getting into the sport going with this set or the Niupipo MX-06 set is a great way to get 2 paddles and start playing
