They have updated instructions which are much better than what comes in the box.
First, this worked great and was easy to use if you understand how DMX works. It would have been nice if they had a terminating plug in the package but they are easy enough to get. The instructions, as most have said, are terrible. I found another single page in the box that was the option guide for the lights. At the bottom of that page is a QR code for the most updated instructions. It gave me a pdf that was clearly written by an English speaker and was 20 pages of very detailed instructions for both the controller and the lights. Very nice. I almost didn’t scan that QR code. Glad I did.

Surprised me… best DMX par I own!
I was hesitant to buy these lights when I saw that amazon had some used for $40. I decided to pick them up. It turns out they were basically new. Only issue I had was the treaded brass (I think) was completely destroyed on one unit, but I was able to pick it out with a knife and screw the mounting bracket to the plastic chassis.The chassis feels cheap, but I can’t really complain at $10 a light. Also the DMX in and out are flipped. Don’t freak out thinking you need an adapter when they are just labeled wrong. Packaging is majorly cheap, looks like something you would find in chinatown in NYC.I have tried using dmx, but my interface is unstable so I cannot keep a consistent dmx output. I ended up running these on master slave, with one of them on sound activated, and the others on dmx 1. They sync up with almost no delay (keep in mind if you are new, that you need dmx cables to sync them up).Some people have said these are 4 channel units, they are not. They are 6 channel.1. Master Dimmer2. Red3. green4. Blue5. Strobe6. Macro (still don’t know what this does, testing it soon)

Board:Great board. Controls many different types of lights.Lights:Not as bright as some other or cans but good for wall wash or close up lighting. Not recommended for distance lighting like say mounting on a light bar on the ceiling of a stage. Still great for the price though. Great for backlighting.

Loved this product and it was received just as it was described. The lights were great for the venue we were doing and the assembly and use was very easy even for the most novice user. Highly recommend these lights for setting the mood for an event, creating ambiance, spotlighting a speaker, and creating an atmosphere with light. Great price as well as responsive support.

Useless instructions. If you don’t know DMX don’t buy this! – READ MY UPDATE BELOW
I purchased this system in October 2018. I immediately noted that the instructions are terrible. I requested better instructions from the seller so they sent me copies of exactly what I already had. I’ve watched every You Tube video on DMX and had 3 people with some knowledge of these systems try to help me get it set up and running. It’s now April 2019 and I still can’t get it going. Don’t waste your money. Spend a few extra bucks for a better system from a reputable manufacturer.UPDATE – I’M UPDATING MY REVIEW AND ADDING 4 STARS. THE SELLER WAS ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT. THEY CONTACTED ME IMMEDIATELY. WE EMAILED BACK AND FORTH WITH INFO RE MY PROBLEMS AND THEY DETERMINED THE CONTROLLER AND SEVERAL LIGHT FIXTURES WERE FAULTY. THEY IMMEDIATELY OFFERED TO SEND OUT REPLACEMENT PARTS. THE NEW EQUIPMENT ARRIVED TODAY AND WORKS PERFECTLY. THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE STILL TERRIBLE AND I ENCOURAGED THEM TO IMPROVE THEM. BEYOND THAT, I’VE LEARNED SO MUCH ABOUT DMX FROM FRIENDS AND YOU TUBE THAT I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO WORKING WITH SYSTEM IN A LIVE SITUATION. I RECOMMEND THIS SYSTEM WITHOUT RESERVATION AND WOULD DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SELLER ANYTIME. THEY’RE EXCELLENT.

Great Package for Stage Performances
These lights and controller are exactly as described. They are bright and easy to assemble on the 2 stands I purchased separately. I am still figuring out the controller and will probably have to go on line to get some help there. The best thing about this purchase was that one of the lights was defective and after an email to the supplier explain the defect another light was sent right out. I received it and made the gig with all 8 lights working. Great company to work with. I cannot praise them enough for their service. I expect to get at least 4 to 8 more lights from them soon.
