This yarn is a bit tricky since it was my first time making anything. The yarn kept splitting and its small and hard to see. If I could go back, I’d get some easy yarn instead. As a whole, this is a cite little kit with good instructions especially since my daughter helped me with what the Dec, stc, etc. Meant. Would make a good gift. I ordered 4 donut sets for my daughter’s friends for valentines day. They are really cute!

The videos and printed patterns are so helpful! You get everything you need to make the plants and in my kit I received a pair of scissors that I wasn’t expecting! If you’re a beginner the kit is great because you don’t need to purchase anything additional and you can use some of the items (like hook and stitch markers) for other patterns! The final products are adorable and I’d highly recommend.

I have never crocheted before but this made it fairly simple with watching the videos linked in the booklet. I would have maybe preferred a different type of yarn as the one provided was a little hard to work with as a beginner but it is not impossible!! I love my little cacti!!

I chose this crochet kit because it was cute but also because it is cheaper than a lot of other kits. I learned very basic crochet when I was young but I forgot pretty much everything. This kit certainly is not easy and requires a lot of patience, but, between the instruction booklet and video tutorials I was able to piece everything together decently. It can be a bit repetitive so you get better with each try. Everything you need is right in the box. My first crotchet plant is pretty janky, but it was enjoyable to make! The yarn is not very easy to work with but for the price, not unexpected. Overall, very happy with the purchase

I just love these kits with video instructions. I am an avid crocheter and having the video instructions is great. Even I need help with amigarumi. The yarn is easily split, but I can work around that fact. Price is fantastic as for just one of another brand is $40 each. I get 5 out of this kit. This is cute, but just a warning, the yarn provided is not super beginner-friendly. The videos are helpful… but not for a brand new beginner, more intermediate beginner. Would recommend it for a fun inexpensive project, but not for someone trying this for the first time.

Excellent kit! But you will need additional youtube videos to help you learn each stitch first.
The instructions are clear and they give you everything you need, so in that sense its good for beginners like myself. BUT, know that. you’re gonna follow along witht he youtube videos they link you to. I also needed additional youtube videos to help, but once I figured out each stitch, I was smooth sailing.For beginners does NOT mean this is easy LOL. But worth the effort to learn!!

I’ve just started and I love this kit!
I’ve done a lot of kits and this is one of the best stocked ones. I have a hard time counting, so I’m slow in getting things done. But everything is included just like they indicated. The scissors are of a pretty decent quality for a kit like this. While I don’t think it’s a beginner project for a child, it’s good for a teenager or adult with more dexterity and patience. I’d recommend this. Definitely!!!

Great product for the price, comes with plenty of stuffing and yarn for all 4 designs. Instructions are clear and easy to understand. I already knew how to crochet so it was super simple, but if your brand new the hardest step would be the magic circles. They do give 2 different examples in the Instructions book, and have some qrs for videos. Love this kit 😍 such a fun gift

This is a great kit to learn amigurumi. The videos are super helpful and offer an initial instruction with a slowed down instruction for people new to crochet. I had never tried crocheting until I bought this kit, but was able to pick it up quickly with the videos. The only area for improvement for me is the crochet markers, as I had several break very quickly. That being said, they give you quite a few to work with, so some of them breaking has not been a problem. I would definitely buy again.
