Bought this for my granddaughter for her second birthday. No it isn’t really a lap top, but my granddaughter certainly looks the part “working” on it. It’s just her size. She really does love it. The only thing we wish is that it played more music. Listening to the 3? songs over and over again can be a little much. But great toy.

Long lasting and fun!
We purchased our first set in 2016. It went through two toddlers and even a bit older than that. We saved them and up until now (2024) my youngest toddler beat it up enough that it started acting up so we are ordering another! I think that’s a pretty good lifespan for technology meant for toddlers to handle and carry around. All of my kids have enjoyed both the laptop and the touch pad features of this item. Definitely worth the buy!!

Good toy
This is a good child toy. I like the fact that the screen lights up, but I do find that the blue light is a bit bright. There should be an easy light adjustment for the screen, unfortunately, there isn’t. Also, the name personalization is limited. It would be great if it stated my baby’s name, which I have read was available in an older version of this laptop. Nevertheless, it is a good and fun interactive toy for my little one.

Along with learning ABC’s, Counting and the other games, a cool feature is being able to customize your child’s name. They learn to spell it & hear it. The screen seemed dim to me. That’s one downside. Otherwise it’s a well loved game. My lil one is 2 1/2 and is spending her name out loud. She’s so close to having it down. This goes everywhere with her.

I almost didn’t order due to many reviews suggesting that the screen itself is dysfunctional and won’t stay in place but I took the chance anyway. I have since found that you have to angle the screen a little more than 90° in order for it to stay put. Maybe it could’ve been designed a little better but knowing this, I have no issue with the product.

We haven’t gotten to a tablet stage just yet in our life so we thought we would try to buy this to help. My daughter loves it. There are so many different things you can do. It has games, lwtters, numbers, etc.It has games such as clicking on the buttons to guess an animal. It has a handle that makes it easy to grab and pick up. It’s very light weight. The color of the screen is very simple blue and black but it still shows pictures of animals just not as clear as the tv. Leap frog is very educational for kids and it helps them to involve them in the activities.

This gift is perfect for infants and toddlers. I’m much rather give my family members this over a phone or a real iPad. The learning games are really good and it teaches the kids how to count and say the AbC. Music is perfect loud enough for the kids not too noises or annoying battery life is really good as well. This laptop/tablet is such a great idea! It has lots of different functions and fun things for toddlers to do. My only complaint is the screen. It is so dark and fuzzy that it is hard to see unless you are looking at it at just the right angle.

Pretty good toy for young kids
I bought this as a gift for my 15 month old niece who loves all things technology. Given that it’s recommended for ages 4-5, it’s definitely a little advanced for her right now, but she still likes the screen & tapping the keyboard. I really like the fact that there are 5 different modes for the kids to play in. The e-mail mode is really great because she can just tap random keys for a while. In other modes like games and music and numbers, the toy requires more response from the user like tapping an item on the screen or pressing specific keys.I think this toy would be a great toy for any child 3-5. I definitely foresee her older brother playing with this more than her, but it’s a handy distraction tool when you don’t want to give a toddler your cell phone.I only have two issues with this toy so far. The first is that it’s almost too easy to flip between tablet and laptop mode. The hinges are pretty loose so it’s always going back & forth, even if that’s not what the kid was trying to do. Also sometimes if the screen is on and you close it, it thinks it’s in tablet mode even if you can’t see the screen. The swivel feature could be a little more sturdy, but I wouldn’t say that’s a reason not to buy it.The other issue is that it seems to have a “sleep” mode, and to wake it up, you have to turn it off and back on. Tapping buttons and pressing the screen do not appear to wake it up. What is the point of a sleep mode if you can’t wake it up?

Got it today and our 3 year old loves it so far, and it’s got a lot of features, but we just noticed an odd quirk – where the keyboard should say STUV, the letters that were installed are SUVV. Not great for teaching letters, but I imagine we will get a replacement.

Reset spring for screen to flip properly
We are enjoying this toy. Was bummed when the screen wouldn’t stay put in laptop mode. Saw a video online that showed how to remove the 5 screws on the front and back of the screen and, with the screen facing upwards in tablet mode, reset the springs, replace the white cover and screw all the screws back in. This allows the screen to flip on its own and set itself in place when the toy is opened to laptop mode or tablet mode.Was worth the discounted price given I had to fix it upon receipt. Our child enjoys playing with this toy and I’d recommend it to children that enjoy letters and numbers. The touchscreen is pretty responsive and works well.

Bought this for our 2 year old grandson. He has enjoyed it so far, especially popping the bubbles. He does repeat what he heard. Not the biggest attention span yet. His 4 year old and 7 year old cousins enjoyed it when they came to visit. I was shocked when the 4 year old counted along with it so well.The only big downside to this is the screen is very dark so it’s hard for the children to see what’s going on.

I love the tablet itself. It teaches numbers, letters, plays songs and also has a “play” email function. When I recieved the tablet it was obviously used, the screen was scratched up and I debated if I should return it or not. I really wanted it since they dropped it down to 18 bucks I guess the scratches was for the price break but it doesn’t affect it’s functionality so I save myself to hassle of returning it. I think it’s cute however its a bit to advance for my 9 month old. I got because she tries to “steal” her siblings laptops and Ipads. She’s not into much yet but I know she’ll grow to love it.

I was really looking forward to something that my kiddo will love, and learn from. However, I’m not sure if she’ll be as interested as I though- due to the sounds / volume seeming defective. There’s a video attached with this review, on the lowest volume setting, and it sounds terrible – quality is poor. Not sure if defective or how the laptop is generally. Not sure what the touch screen aspect is, it doesn’t seem to have anything that you need it for. My device also came all scratched up, as you can also see in the photos.

Bought this for my son after my in-laws made the mistake of only getting one for my daughter. We call this his “tap-tap” and he uses it “for work” when he plays “office” with his sister. He loves that it flips between a laptop and a touch screen tablet, and that the games and features change when in the different modes. It’s so fun! And he’s actually learning letter and phrases to help with his language development as well. This makes a fun gift. But just don’t forget one for each kid!!

Over all good with one complaint
My daughter enjoys playing with this. She is 2 year and 3 months. She seems to be at a perfect age for this device. It provides some learning and challenging without being way over her head. She likes to toggle between the laptop and touchpad modes. My only problem with the device is that the monitor is very bright. Sometimes when the lighting in the room is deem she would tell me her eyes hurt and would shut the device off. I wish the monitor brightness could be adjusted.

I wasn’t a fan of how it keeps trying to rotate at certain angles. That the only game in tablet mode is pressing the brush and then pressing violet over and over again. Also the message feature in the tablet…spot tells you what he did or played with and to reply what was your favorite toy or place…which isn’t bad but the reply is with a smile face or emoji with glasses. It’s just stupid. Although the laptop features are the highlight if this toy. I really liked how it did letter sounds on abc mode, and number mode said the number and counted per item with the number. The message from scout is pretty nice that they can write put what they want…the only thing is its only one word. It has no feature for a space in between the words. I wanted to make words with my three year old and pretend to send spot a real message. It was disappointing and hopefully they can enhance this feature. We enjoyed that game mode in laptop form was fun facts about animals in the letter groups. All in all my three year old enjoys it. Some features he doesn’t use, although it’s still a toy he enjoy’s and I purchased another as a gift for another child.*** It doesn’t have bilingual, just an f.y.i.If that’s something your looking for there’s tons of toddler tablets with them.

This a great gift to give to your toddler’s 1 and up. You can program their name in it and it’s a great way for your child to learn how to say words, identify letters and objects. Not just a noise making toy, there are real games on this machine and my kids love it
I didn’t want to get my kids noisey toys for the sake of noise, and a green version of this laptop was purchased and my two kids liked to use it in pretend play and while it does make noise and sing songs it does have games and was good enough that I bought a second version, this one in pink because it would get here quicker. I have since learned to never get the same toy in two colors with toddlers because they will fight to the death over one of them. ( some days they fight over green, some pink- this toy is identical but for the color). I do not regret this purchase and would buy it as a gift.

It has little mini games that is very simple for 2 year olds to understand.HOWEVER, my daughter is a bit of a sociopath and crazy that she will repeatedly press the Y button. And it drives all of us a bit crazy. Y. Y. Y. Y. Y. Y. WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? It has games, lwtters, numbers, etc.It has games such as clicking on the buttons to guess an animal. It has a handle that makes it easy to grab and pick up. It’s very light weight. The color of the screen is very simple blue and black but it still shows pictures of animals just not as clear as the tv. Leap frog is very educational for kids and it helps them to involve them in the activities.

This is a nice interactive toy but the screen is not very clear. Hard to see unless it’s held at the perfect angle and even then it’s not a clear resolution. The screen also swings a little too much unless it’s folded pretty far back. It’s meant to be used from a low angle only (like the floor) and not on a table.

Along with learning ABC’s, Counting and the other games, a cool feature is being able to customize your child’s name. They learn to spell it & hear it. The screen seemed dim to me. Item arrived new as described. Buttons are easy to push and my 15 month old daughter was glued to it for well over 30mins. She’ll do something else while using the carry handle to take everywhere with her as it weighs nothing but quickly returns to repeat alphabet sounds from this item. The music feature is her favorite and hasn’t stopped dancing. My child is entertained and out my hair for 30mins at a time ergo I love it too. Btw…the touchscreen feature is activated only in tablet mode.

Screen stopped holding in laptop mode
My son enjoys playing with this laptop/tablet. However, after a month the screen would not stay in the laptop mode without holding it in place, so he just uses the tablet mode.

My daughter loves having her own computer (she says she’s working) that teaches her all kinds of things. We have had to carry it every where we go and show it to all of our friends. She loves that it’s touch screen or that she can open it up and play on it too.

It’s age appropriate but limits what they can do
I was a bit disappointed they only have 2 songs and it’s not a touchscreen it’s more like a push on the screen type. I wanted it to help her pronounced her name when it’s spelt and I think she would be playing spelling words in the game function but otherwise not a bad buy my 2 year use it but gets bored afterawhile. Volume control is good.

This laptop is what got my son reading. His first word he spelled was “scout” 😂 but this is at age two. He was nonverbal until about two months ago. But he was reading before he could talk! He still plays w it to this day!

This gift is perfect for infants and toddlers. I’m much rather give my family members this over a phone or a real iPad. The learning games are really good and it teaches the kids how to count and say the AbC. Music is perfect loud enough for the kids not too noises or annoying battery life is really good as well. Color is nice and bright well made computer.

So I bought this for my toddler and I think she’s a little too young for it, she’s 18 mos and is always wanting to grab my phone so I bought this for her so she would have her own. I think so far she’s more intrigued.by how it can easily go from laptop to table and it’s touch screen. Really good quality though and a perfect way to get a little non phone technology/education in 🙂

Much to my surprise, when she would see me sit down at my laptop, she would yell “I want to work!” And grab a pen and paper and work along side me. I knew she needed something of her own and this was the magic solution!Now I have an awesome co worker who takes her “work” very seriously. Not only is it adorable, but as she gets older, I know she will continue learning with this toy as well.It’s engaging and not annoying (thank you, toy gods!).My only wish was that it had a headphone jack. As her favorite toy, I’d love to take this on planes, but volume is a must.

Long lasting and fun!
We purchased our first set in 2016. It went through two toddlers and even a bit older than that. We saved them and up until now (2024) my youngest toddler beat it up enough that it started acting up so we are ordering another! I think that’s a pretty good lifespan for technology meant for toddlers to handle and carry around. All of my kids have enjoyed both the laptop and the touch pad features of this item. Definitely worth the buy!!

Best toy to keep your toddler occupied and great learning tool!
My 18 month absolutely loves this toy! He plays with it almost everyday and has learned so much. There are so many different games to play with and I love that there’s a touch screen option to play as a tablet. We bring it everywhere we go — to the grandparents house, in the car, restaurant and on the plane! Small enough to travel and to keep him busy. I’ve also purchased this as a gift!

Great learning toy for the car
We’ve been looking for more interactive toys to help with ABC’s numbers etc. This is great for toddlers perfect size for travel, and they seem to enjoy it. Very lightweight and easy to use. I do wish the screen was a little more vibrant to keep their attention longer. I think that would help with the learning element but outside of that this is a great toy.
