Sounds good
This will work as a chime to bring everyone together at a meeting. The healing aspect won’t hurt either.

It’s good beginner bowl with slight imperfections.
When I first got the bowl I was surprised at how small it was considering that it is listed as 4″ in diameter, but i think that’s at the widest point and not at the lip. Was pretty upset at first but after playing around with it and figuring out how to meditate using it, I made my peace with its less than advertised size. I have been able to get both low and high frequency ringing from the bowl separately and together. The construction of the bowl is solid and has good feel to it in your palm. It’s a tad small to fit perfectly in my palm without having my fingers touching the edges and blocking the resonance effect. So it took me some practice to hold it properly in my palm but it does start aching a little after 5-6 mins of stretching out my fingers so they don’t touch the metal.

Small but easily resonates.
Little smaller than I expected it to be but that’s my fault for not reading the description fully. The wooden rod had a small imperfection that was noticeable when circling the bowl but a little sanding evened it right out.Sounds good for what it is!

Its ok
It was ok. Looked used as if someone used before since it had scratch lines around the rim. The sound is low and doesnt last. I dont like the sound as well. Returned, die to the sound and the seller keeps dropping and raising price. I paid $26, next it was $19. Smh. Sell it for one price because it sucks anyways.

Packs a punch
This little bowl can sing! I was surprised it worked so well. I just needed a cheap attention getter for a classroom setting, so I would have been happy as long as it just made a chime noise. I wasn’t sure I’d actually get it to “sing” but I did and it’s really amazing how calming it is, not to mention how it works to get students to quiet down and tune in to the teacher. Might order another one for home, too.

Happy here
I’m satisfied how it performs, looks etc. I don’t know how other bowls may sound like or look like but this one is like a picture and it does what it claims that it would do. It does take a little time to get a hang of it and my arm hurts after making it ‘sing’ for a while. It does make that clingy, sound once you get it going but if you slow down and be “more mindful” to continue and pay attention the cling will go away- the bowl is vibrating, because it is making the sound. It’s quite amazing. It is my impression that it’s hand made, and the little stand seems to be real felted wool. For the price it’s good value.
Hansa –
Nice.
It was smaller than I anticipated and yet, the sound is beautiful. It will be easy to carry. I did buy two as gifts so teachers could use it to travel between studios. I hope it is a good “travel” size for them.

Sings easily, but not on the included cushion
This bowl sings perfectly when sitting on a flattened palm and rubbed with the included stick.Unfortunately the fabric “doughnut” holder dampens the bowl too much, so it’s only useful for holding the bowl when not being used. A smaller doughnut, or a “pillow” style holder would likely work better for this particular bowl.

Love it!
I love the sound…sooooo relaxing 😌
MJ –
Higher pitched but high quality for the price
Wood piece was a bit softer of a wood than expected – and I think it’s a little higher pitched than most hand sized bowls. Definitely not 527hz which is supposed to be standard for singing bowls, but again I think it’s due to the size.Travels well and pretty easy to learn. Like that the stand seemed hand crafted

C.PicardC.Picard –
Nice sound, fair price.
It’s a nice little bowl that sings well. Smaller than I expected but overall not bad for $20. If you are thinking about buying one, this is a good start for $20. Let the bowl rest in the palm of your hand and practice using the mallet. It takes practice to make a bowl sing. You have to use a fair amount of pressure when moving the mallet around the rim. You should get a lovely sound.
Darryl Guillory –

Lovely warm up for meditation!!
Love this! The vibration in your hand resonates and is SO calming, and the tone is peaceful and lovely. My singing bowl is quickly become a morning and evening habit!
Auntie M –
Good bowl but…
The singing bowl itself is excellent. I am delighted with the bowl itself because the size is perfect, especiallyfor my travel bag! The sounds is wonderful too. The doughnut it sits on is ok and I like that it is wool felt instead of satin. The mallet is where I wish they had done better. It could be a solid 5, if not for that. I ordered five singing bowls total and 3 arrived today. Fortunately the other two I ordered came with suede mallets. Oh my! The difference when I use a suede mallet on this little guy!! The suede mallet can make this bowl sing beautifully and sing forever. If I hadn’t gotten one with my other bowls, I would have purchased a suede mallet for this one. The wooden mallet it came with creates too much occasional ting sound if you don’t keep steady and is a bit more challenging to play. Other people seem to get along fine with it though because the reviews led me to buy it, so maybe I just lack necessary skill with the plain, unwrapped wooden one. However, I like the small mallet for travel and I do have a small piece of suede that I plan to cut and glue on it. It will be amazing then!

sings easily
This bowl goes into resonance quickly once the right firmness of pressure is achieved. The technique is not so hard, simply moving the wood around the outside, below the rim and above the score mark. Maintaining the sonic smoothness is another matter, as invariably there is a stuttering of the wood and then the sound has a harsh timber until things settle back down. The singing bowl is best used in a group setting, as the person who is resonating the cavity must concentrate on the movement. Perhaps with practice this becomes a way to clear the mind, but I have found it distracting so far. For solitary meditation the bowl thus sits unused.

Mi Gusta
It was just delivered. I don’t have any experience with singing bowls, this is my first one. It’s a little bit smaller than I thought it would be, but has a pretty loud sound. The closer to the top you circulate, the louder and high pitched it gets. It’s a bit difficult to get the wooden stick to not skip on the bowl, distorting the sound. This could just me my lack of experience, I should probably move a bit slower. The craft seems pretty good, although the ring that it sits on is shedding some fibers. In all, I’m happy with the purchase so far. It sings, nothing looks damaged. I think it will last a while.

A little clunky
The bowl and pillow are beautifully made, but the mallet v the size of the bowl is a little clunky. It’s difficult to get a fluid motion for a continuous sound. I’ve had more success with bowls that are a little larger.

Great But was dusty
Bought this as a Christmas gift to my friend. She loveeedddd it! Only problem to me personally it was dusty/dirty when I opened it, I’m assuming it was sitting in the warehouse? The paper that came with it had a piece of hair on it , and was just OLD and dusty like idk if they were trying to give vintage but ew. The blue stand piece, fabric was falling apart

Clear sounf
Bought this as an attention getter in my classroom, and it works well. It took me a few days to get used to making the bowl sing but now I’m a pro. Great for using with the kids. My only regret is the sound is a higher pitch and I wish I’d gotten a larger version.

Tiny, functional….practical?
I bought this more as a novelty than for practical use in meditation. I am a novice at meditation and while looking for books or related products this came up and it was a flash deal at a reduced price. It looked cook and thought it would be nice on my desk.First of all the women demonstrating how it’s used in the video must either be tiny or they are using different versions in the video because this one is way smaller than it appears in the pictures and videos. It does work rather nicely and is attractive. I think a larger model might be easier to use so if you plan to use this as an actual meditation aid I would spend a little more for something more substantial. But for the price, this one is cute and functional and makes a great tchotchke for your desk or coffee table. This is not hand-hammered as it claims though. The attached video shows it being spun on a lathe. They do add some hammer strikes at the bottom but that seems to be more for aesthetics rather than function. Still nice to look at and if you want to strike it, it does have a pleasant ring.

Excellent quality; beautiful sound!
I’ve been wanting one of these bowls for a long time. I was apprehensive of ordering this because the price seemed to be “too good.” But in fact, when it arrived I was more than delighted with it!It is much thicker and heavier than I would have thought, especially at that price. And the sound is beautiful – very clear and crisp — not in any way “tinny.”The striker and the cushion are likewise of high quality. The cushion was not shown separately in the product photos. I had expected it to be a small circular pillow. However, it is actually a padded ring, with an open center. I like this shape better.Part of what attracted me to this item is that it is artisan made. I like supporting artisans and appreciate the crafting and hard work that goes into such of products. They are more meaningful to me than mass produced items. All in all, I’m sorry I waited so long to purchase this! I can’t recommend this product highly enough.—I was not paid or in any way compensated for this review. I paid the regular price listed on Amazon at the time of my purchase.

Ready for the Memorial Service
I bought this singing bowl to strike each time I read a name at an upcoming memorial service for nine people. I watched videos on Amazon, of similar-sized bowls, looking for the lowest pitch. This one sounds just like the video, and the participants I have played it for, as a preview, have loved it. Ready to go!

Beautiful sound but doesn’t last.
Much smaller than I expected & no padding on the end of the mallet. The sound is beautiful but stops as soon as I stop the movement. I wonder if the sound would last longer if the bowl was bigger? Or maybe I just need more practice.
Andrea Michael –
Es muy bonito pero más pequeño de lo que pensé
Los detalles del cuenco son muy bonitos pero es muy pequeño. Se podría mejorar el empaque. Pero si quieres un cuenco pequeño este es el ideal.

Lovely sound, lovely company
The price might suggest this is a cheap-o singing bowl but it is not! Even though it’s small, the sound is full and rich, not high pitched or tinny. It’s beautifully crafted. The Ohm Store is an ethically-operated business supporting artisans in Nepal and the owners are dedicated to offering guidance for mindfulness practice. I have purchased 2 more singing bowls from The Ohm Store, for myself, and plan to purchase many more as gifts! The mallet does not have a soft wrap on the tip, which can vibrate against the bowl while you’re getting the hang of it. I’m going to leather wrap mine.

Open outside & let thewood mallet air out!! Reeks, but has weird (good?) affect on my ADHD
Bowl looks great, comes with a link to have instructions sent to you, but easy enough to figure out on your own.. produces an almost hypnotic ring.. my only complaint is that upon opening, the first thing I noticed is that the wooden tool has a small spot of mold and absolutely REEKS like mold/mildew… the smell actually took my breath away… not one to send stuff back, I plan to sand it down and re-seal the wood.On a completely separate note, I have lifelong ADHD, and in the evening after meds wear off, I get very physically and mentally “twitchy”, needing to just move around, racing thoughts, etc which interferes with my sleep. Ive tried meditation to “turn off” my racing thoughts, but am unable to meditate, because I get “bored” (ADHDers will get that).. like I stated above, i DID try out this bowl, and noticed that it had a short-lived, but almost hypnotic effect/slowed thinking that I have never experienced before. This was bought as a gift, but I plan to purchase one for myself to explore this further.

Takes a bit of practice.
I viewed many singing bowls online and perhaps didn’t pay enough attention to the “cushion” which came with this particular bowl. Rather than a pretty brocade cushion, it is a more or less round, rough, yarn doughnut shape, which isn’t as pretty on a table. Having said that, the sound quality is good and if and when I decide to purchase another singing bowl, will probably choose a more specific cushion and striker (this one is very plain, wood) with a design. But for the price and quality of tone, a great purchase.

Tibetan Singing Bowl is a treasure and a joy.
This is a wonderful item. The craftsmanship is apparent, the bowl is well-made, has no rough edges, and has a nice size and feeling of heft. The tone it creates is next to ethereal and is easy to use and enjoy. It is very attractive to display. I chose this bowl partly because of the beautiful wooden striker. I highly recommend this bowl for oneself or as a gift idea.

Much better than the other one.
This bowl performed pretty much as promised. The reverberations could be longer but the tone and the song is very nice. I first bought the other one here for the same price but returned it right away as it didn’t even RING let alone sing. This is a much better bowl and that is probably why it has so many more positive reviews than the other one.

I thought this bowl was just OK, not tinny-sounding, but it’s difficult to get it to sing much. Fortunately, I have another bowl with a hard, finished mallet. Trying that, this bowl dances right off its cushion and is such a lovely sound! But that mallet is too large. And the mallet they sent with this is unfinished soft pine and absorbs all the sound. That’s the problem. The picture they show here is with a finished mallet but that’s not what I received. But the bowl itself has wonderful properties.

Why did I wait so long?
I love this little singing bowl! I pondered on purchasing it for a long time because I was leary of the tone. I felt it would be a real high pitch and that couldn’t be farther from the truth. This little bowl has a beautiful rich tone. I’ve had it a week and have played it every day. I would love for leather to be on the stick as it will bounce a bit when the bowl is really singing. But that doesn’t stop me from using and loving the bowl every day. For the price, you can’t go wrong. Would definitely purchase again.

Portable and easy to learn with great tones
I like this product because its easy to hold in the palm of your hand. It also came with the donut ring to hold freely on a table or floor. The sound is very nice. I am still learning, but when I get it to the deep tone, it’s so mesmerizing and relaxing. Definitely a good little singing bowl to own.

Maximum Verbosity –
Beautiful melancholic sound
Disclaimer: I have zero experience using one of these so I’m just going by my uneducated opinion.I bought this for my daughter for Christmas as part of a themed meditation gift basket. Sadly, she decided not to spend Christmas with me 🙁 So I was boxing it up to return and decided to see what it sounded like. I’ll admit, I had to look up a YouTube video for instructions on how to use it but it’s actually quite easy!Just hold the small end of the wooden mallet in your dominant hand making sure to keep it straight and vertical. Touch it to the outside center of the bowl and slowly, without lifting the mallet or losing contact, run the mallet along the outside. If you do it with finesse, you’ll be rewarded with a deep, loud sound. It’s not a chime, it’s not a ring – it’s something deeper. My dog is not a fan.But there is something satisfying about it. I could see someone using it along with their ‘ohm’ part of meditation (or in place of). I don’t really know what that is – I’m Catholic – but I know it’s similar to prayer which is separating yourself from the here & now and letting your mind free to focus on positive things.I think this would make a great gift for someone who is spiritual but not religious. I actually bought a gratitude journal, ayurvedic lavender soap, imported incense, a candle and some essential oils to go with the whole package, which unfortunately I now have to return, but it might give someone else an idea of a nice gift to give someone you maybe don’t know well, or who is sick, recovering from something or maybe would benefit from some introspection.

Beautiful Tone
I don’t know if I’m using it correctly as I did not read the literature that came with it, yet. But, I’m a musician and I bought it for the tone it would produce. I wasn’t sure what it would sound like. It is well made like my drum cymbals. It has small hammer marks surround it when struck it produces an “A” tone quickly followed by a “d” tone. But when you circle the outside of the bowel with the striker you can get it to produce a singing tone of “E”. You have to really focus to make the bowl sing by using drag friction. It’s very soothing to hear .I love this bowl (bell).

I gave this nicely little singing bowl as a gift and it was well received. My only small comment was that I did not receive a cushion as shown for the bowl to sit on. It is a good buy but if a cushion is shown, it should be sent. Otherwise, I highly recommend as a purchase.

It’s Great! I Love It!
I’m absolutely new to singing bowls and this is my first one and looked at videos on Youtube to see how their used. So I’m gonna tell you my experience from day one of receiving it up until now, which will be useful to other first time users. When I first unpacked it I bugged out on how small it is. Now I knew it was gonna be small from the reviews on it before purchasing, but I just didn’t realize how small until I actually got it in my hand. It’s stark small. Even in my small hand it felt too small to use. I was trying to rotate the wood stick around the edge and was feeling awkward like this thing isn’t made to be held, not to mention that I wasn’t getting a sound from it. But this was really my inexperience and being a stranger, not the size of the bowl, which I gradually discovered afterward. It’s a day by day thing. Now it comes with a little note on a card with a friendly greeting and a how to use it link to download, but I found the website address to be nonexistent or the address not given correctly. Numerous hits came up with none of them being the actual Ohm Store selling this bowl and offering any download, and I was a little frustrated with that. But I didn’t panic and start thinking that I’ve just been gypped, and Googled how play a singing bowl to read something about holding and playing it. Which turned out out well. And so I suggest not bothering with the note. Don’t aggravate yourself with that, on what will appear to be a wild goose chase. I hope that the Ohm Store will get around to correcting this feature. So now that I’ve obtained a grasp on how to hold and play it, I still found it awkward to hold and play. The only sound I could get from it was by striking it on the side. So I sat the bowl down on a bed table in front of me, and was able to play it that way. I could actually hear it singing with the striker stick circling the edge. And this had me convinced for awhile that the bowl is made too small to use in your hand. And I then realized that that way was a problem too, as the bowl was sliding around on the table. Which is what kept using it in my hand in my intention. So for day one’s practice, I played it little in the only way that I could, on a table, and called it a day. And I took a couple of shots at it later on in the night on the table. For a total of 3 tries on day one.Now on day two, amazingly, I found that I was able to play it in my hand. Not well, but playing it. Now what happened? What was the difference between today and yesterday? The difference was acquaintance. I was a total stranger to the bowl yesterday and more acquainted with it today. So I found that you have to become attuned to the world of sacred sound. The effort you made on the first day isn’t forgotten by the other side your connecting to. Okay, now on day two I’m playing it my hand, and it still felt awkward. And today, like yesterday, I put in a total of 3 tries and called it a day.Okay, now on day three, I decided to use the ring with the bowl in my hand, with my hand opened, fingers not touching the bowl. To give it some height that may allow me to circle the striker more smoothly. And to my surprise, I was playing that bowl much much better. In fact, the sound got louder and louder as I was circling, like a symphony, and I started feeling a very strong vibration in my hand that flowed up to my forearm. The difference as far as I can see, is acquaintance. Each day brings you closer to the realm of sacred sound. And I found the bowl to feel comfortable in my hand with the ring.Well that’s all I have to tell you for now. I’ve been using it for 3 days. It’s a great bowl, I love it, and are grateful to have it. Kudos to the Ohm Store for kicking out a wonderful work of art at an affordable price, and I highly recommend this bowl to everyone. Especially newbies. All in all, the tiny size of the bowl isn’t an issue. It has nothing to do with the function and quality of the bowl, and if you are new at it, you will experience the same break in period with a larger bowl. In fact, the small size of the bowl makes it perfect to carry with you.

My first bowl!
I thought it would be more difficult to play. It’s not! I like the look of the bowl along with the the cushion that it came with. It is a great for beginners. I plan on ordering a larger bowl from this seller. Energy ,frequency and vibration! I find it great to play when I need a little boost of positive energy. I recommend this item if you are looking to get into energy cleansing and etc.

Bowl is beautiful. The felt ring less so.
I have another singing bowl from the Ohm Store and love their products. I needed another bowl and found this one. When I tried it out on the felt ring holder it came with — no singing! So I tried with my pillow from the other bowl — beautiful sounds! Solution: I made a pillow from scraps of silk and now it sings every time I use it. While there are some pillows for sale, they were larger than I wanted for this small bowl.So 5 stars for the bowl, less one due to the felt ring.

Not as nice as I’d hoped, but still a good product
Quality is not pristine; it has small dings on the rim and on the side. The mallet it came with is bare wood, not lined with felt. (It’s not recommended to use bare wood on the singing bowl)It does sound good, however, and feels solid even for its palm-top size. All in all, commensurate with its price.

Nice but not the sound for me
This is an attractive bowl set. Its small size and details make it a nice display piece. The details are machined but it looks good and solid. It sings easily and is quite loud though doesn’t resonate for long. My issue is with the voice. To me it sounds like an air raid siren or those occasional tests on the radio, hardly calming or meditative. My guitar tuner measured it as E flat. I attribute its unnerving sort of dead sound to its diminutive size and manufacturing and have relegated it to a decorative piece. Even so, for the price I’m satisfied, and guests are attracted to it and have no trouble making it sing.

Good product but I’m not sure I’d give it as a gift
This product was pretty good; it was a little difficult to learn how to use, but I eventually got the hang of it. It does come with a “donut“ as an added bonus however I did find that it didn’t produce the sound that I was expecting. I understand that different sizes have different sounds, but I had seen a similar one and used it, the other one sounded completely different. The craftsmanship isn’t fantastic and the handle is rather plain. I would not recommend this as a gift, but I would recommend for basic use if you were looking for “new“ sounds.

Great small hand size singing bowl
This item is wonderful!! I am still learning but doing much better at it😊. My only disappointment is that there is no suede or leather on the wood piece. Almost all of the other bowls I looked at had that & I didn’t know why. Now that I am learning I am pretty sure it helps block any extra, unwanted sound from lightly tapping the bowl by accident. I am upset with myself for not looking into that because it can be quite annoying. I am disabled with chronic joint pain & post bilateral mastectomy for breast cancer, which can at times effect both arms. I meditate multiple times daily usually when I am feeling my worst & because this is so compact I really didn’t think it would matter. The company video was helpful with proper technique.

Great for starter singing bowl
Got this bowl because I want to start using them as part of my meditations. This is a great starter bowl and honestly I am happy with the sound of my bowl.. it took a few times to get it, but now I am enjoying it more and more each day… like that the size is small enough to fit in the palm of my hand and it is made well which provides a nice sound. Great if you are just starting out with singing bowls.

Surprised by the Quality
Frankly, I did not have high expectations for a “cheap singing bowl I randomly got sort of as a joke off Amazon,” but this thing really sings! Sorry if that was offensive of me to say, but you just cannot trust inexpensive items from the internet… Once I got the hang of the motion with the mallet, this bowl amplifies in volume somehow and rings beautifully. Absolutely in tune and very calming. Not to mention it looks great! I am getting another one to give to my mom for Christmas this year for sure!

Love it!
This is a perfect singing bowl for a beginner. I did research on The Ohm Store and the bowls are hand made and they are made in Nepal. The brass bowls are made by melting down the brass and putting it in a mold before a machine does create the rings on it. But then they are hammered down by hand one at a time. The mold and the machine part are probably why it is so affordable. There are plenty of more expensive and elaborate ones in their store that skip the machine part, any of the bronze ones are 100% handmade with no molds or machines. Very pleased with this purchase and will be purchasing another one from their store when I’m ready to upgrade.

I’m pretty happy with it and have been using it often
My first singing bowl. I’m pretty happy with it and have been using it often. My first try was pretty pathetic, but after that, it’s been very easy. I can get the lower sound as well as the higher without much trouble. I would have preferred a much deeper sound, but for what it is, I’m perfectly satisfied. I must say, the little donut pillow it comes with is sad. I can’t use it with the bowl as the bowl just seems to slide/turn on it as I “play” the bowl. I just place the bowl in the palm of my hand. It fits perfectly in the palm of my hand, maybe a little too perfectly, as I need to keep my fingers off the sides to play it well, but my hand wants to cup the bowl. I’ve since ordered a bigger bowl to see how that’s going to work, and if I can get a deeper sound.

Perfect
My husband and I are just dabbling a little in singing bowls. For our first one this is great. I think it does an E sound. I tried to use an tuner app to help me find out. The bowl is pretty. I think the mallet is pretty good too I was able to get it to sing almost right away. It can be a little temperamental but that may be user error. All in all great product and will maybe purchase a bigger one in the future. The only thing is the sound doesnt last that long so maybe we have to go bigger.

Size of the bowl.
It’s a beautiful bowl with a lovely sound but unless I missed it in the description, it’s about half the size of any other meditation bowl I’ve ever seen or used.
bseletric –
Bigger the bowl, deeper the tone. Go big.
I went smaller and it’s fine. Mine puts out a pretty constant f#. It’s a good sound, a little higher pitched than I’d like (going with a bigger diameter bowl would solve that) and there is no wrap on the striker, so you can’t exactly roll or spin out that tone like you could if it was, but overall, satisfactory. It’s great for a little personal meditation bowl. Definitely will get you a richer sound than some tingsha bells, which tend to have the same problem of smaller=higher pitch, because of the diameter and how vibrations/sound work. Just something to keep in mind. These are definitely not handmade. Someone may have used their hands to make this in a machine, but there are “clear” machining marks and the hammering is just too consistent for a human, unless they’re like masters of symmetry or something.

Smaller than expected but works
I guess I didn’t pay much attention to the size but it’s pretty small. Just small enough to fit in the palm of your hands (and I’ve got really small hands) but otherwise all pieces came undamaged and it works! You really need to know HOW to use it if you want it to work. If you don’t know the technique it can easily frustrate someone into thinking it doesn’t work. Go google or YouTube how to use it

It’s does what it’s supposed to do!
The part of the bowl where you circle the mallet is starting to fade. Not sure if that will affect the sound eventually but I’ll ask the manufacturer. Also the cushion hairs wear easily. Other than that I love the sound and the way it vibrates in my hand when it hits the highest pitch. I can feel the vibrations throughout my body which is VERY relaxing.

Works well, I would recommend a larger size
This bowl is beautiful, well made, and works well at singing if you do it right. My hands are not particularly large but due to the small size of this bowl I found it difficult to hold the bowl in a stable way that didn’t deaden the sound. For example if I try to hold in on my palm the sound is fairly deadened, but if I try to hold it on my fingertips, it is too unstable to comfortably apply the appropriate pressure. I found if I make a fist and balance the bowl on top of my index finger/thumb it works okay.

Great bowl but…
This little singing bowl is great. I wish it had a felt mallet. The only thing I was disappointed about is there are chips in the top making the mallet not flow breaking my concentration and the singing. This would have been great had there not been these defects.

Small but great sound
The media could not be loaded.
I had apprehensions about purchasing a small bowl only because of the depth of sound. I know nothing about Chakras or which notes the various types of bowls play, I only know what is pleasing to me and helps me to clear my mind while meditating. This little bowl fits very well in to my evening routine and I am VERY pleased with my purchase. It was fairly easy to get the bowl to sing and to actually change the pitch by changing the angle of the striker along with the speed and pressure variation. Some caveats to be aware if is that the striker for it is just a standard piece of wood, not glossy or wrapped in anything, which means the wood does get dirty from sliding around the outer edge of the bowl. This is not a big deal for me since I actually use this for meditation and not as a centerpiece to a display or anything. The seller was prompt and the item was as it was advertised so I am very happy with this purchase.

Lovely Singing BUT Smells like Copper If You Wet It!
I love the pitch of my bowl! I used the Tuner T1 app to find that it sings in an E note. The only downside is after trying to see if I could make water jump in it while making it sing, it now leaves my hands smelling like copper. I had water in it all of 4-5 minutes before drying it out. I would recommend for the price 👍🏾

Very nice bowl and great buying experience!
I have a limited foray into Tibetan singing bowls, although I am a professional musician and know instrument quality. I think the bowl sounds true to what it is. It produces a clear chime when struck. It was easy to produce a singing tone. The fundamental is very nice, and overtones aren’t strident — the instrument seems well balanced tonally. This is a legitimate instrument. The bowl is of good quality. The finish is not perfect, but then, this is a handmade instrument and tone is the issue, not the appearance, in particular. Although the bowl is very pretty. The mallet is nice — balanced, nicely finished, and appropriate for the size of the bowl. The padded ring is of good quality. The bowl, mallet and ring came well-packaged and padded. The seller has included an informational pamphlet with the bowl that’s a nice touch. I was also impressed that they reached out to me via email shortly after the package arrived. The email thanked me for the purchase, and included a downloadable PDF instruction sheet, including basics on how to get the bowl to sing, as well as two or three alternative methods of playing. The bowl looks nice adorning my meditation altar, and will make a nice sound addition to my practice. I use sound in healing work, and the bowl’s clear tone will be of benefit in that regard. It’s not museum quality, but it’s not a toy, either. I feel the integrity of the craftsmanship is up to snuff for the purpose, and is honest in its quality and presentation.Although there was no problem with the bowl, the seller seems to be easy to work with, and offered up front to be contacted if there were to be a problem. I’m confident that customer service is excellent. They seem to know their stuff, they care about their product, and they are involved in the mediation/healing community.I thought the price was fair, and I like that the instrument is sourced from local Nepalese people. Just good juju! If I feel I need another bowl, I shall consider the Ohm Store first. If you’re considering a bowl, but unsure which to choose, or unsure if you could work with the bowl, my experience with this bowl and this seller gives me the confidence to recommend them. I had never worked with a singing bowl before, but I had it singing in less than a minute. The bowl and seller are energetically very positive. Don’t hesitate.

The sound it makes
It’s very cute. I didn’t expect it to be so small.

Almost great.
The bowl itself was well made and had a nice tone but it wasn’t achievable with the “paddle” that was shipped with it. Luckily I had an extra one from another bowl that worked great. Had I not had the other paddle I would have sent it back thinking it was defective. No matter how I tried it wouldn’t sing. Knowing what I know, I would buy again.

Nice sound, beautiful
This bowl is beautiful and has a nice sound, but it is not easy to get it to sing. You have to strike it first to get it vibrating. But once you do it has a very pleasant tone. It takes some practice so be patient.

For daughter’s wedding gift
It was on my daughter’s registry. However it was there by accident. We are christian and I shouldn’t have bought it even though it was pretty. I told her to give it away.

Beautiful craftsmanship. Beautiful sound
This was a great price for a cute little bell, fantastic quality, and even came with a little cloth ring for the base. I bought several of these as affordable gifts for work colleagues.
