I plugged it in and the light flashed red then went out. After checking with their customer service, I found out that it will only stay lit up when the batteries are charged. It doesn’t take long to charge the batteries, maybe 40 minutes, then you get around 30 minutes of flight time.The color changing lights are also a big hit. The Emergency Stop control works well, as does the auto-take off and landing button. There have been some crashes, and it’s stood up well to those also, helped in part by the emergency stop that stops the rotors immediately.

Bought this for my nephew for his birthday. First of all it’s easy to learn! Secondly it takes a beating! This thing has hit walls floors and ceilings and it looks like new. The battery lasts longer than the advertised time. We get about 30min from a flight. It works well outside only if it is calm. Do not fly in windy weather!Definitely buying one for myself!

My grandson is 9 and grandpa is 76. We had such fun flying this little gem of a helicopter. It comes with two batteries that each last 15 minutes of flight time. Nice. Press a controller button and up it flies staying pretty much in that elevated spot waiting for directional control. Very well behaved. In a panic simply press the same button and it safely lands straight down. Which we did to avoid a tree. Ha. It comes with an extra set of flying blades in the event of a bad crash. But, being so easy to fly you may never need them. This is a top notch well made toy. You just need a calm no wind day, and perhaps a little sunshine.

Bought this for my 2.5 yo nephew who is obsessed with planes and helicopters. Didn’t really have much expectations for the product especially when I first got the product. It was very very light and seemed flimsy and my initial thought was that this will never last a week. The first one I got did stop working after about a month but the seller sent an immediate replacement which was great. The second is still working after a couple months now. My initial concerns over construction were unfounded as this thing can take a beating and now I’d imagine the lightweight design helps with this. It does come with extra helicopter blades as replacements but we have not had to replace any broken ones yet. Surprisingly this toy is really fun and my nephew LOVES to watch it in action (too young to operate himself)! It does take a little practice to operate but once you get it you realize how easy it is to operate. Note: the lightweight design does have a downside as it doesn’t really work in breezy conditions and just can’t be controlled properly. Still would buy again unless you live in an area that constantly windy.

This was such a pleasure to operate right from the start. Charge the batteries and hook up to helicopter. Off you go having almost no problem flying this from the start. Seems very well made and am surprised at the control you have in flight. I have owned several of these small helicopters over the years but this one handles very well. Does not spin out of control or fly erratically like so many others. Would recommend for children 10 years or older and lots of fun for us big kids too.

it does fly but i gotta say its not that great. don’t get me wrong, you are getting what you pay for. it does not strafe, meaning it cant look forward but move left and right. it can only move forward and backward and turn. it can move up and down in the air but it is a little annoying to people who are used to having a strafe ability. im used to drones that have two, four direction sticks. this has one two direction stick and one four direction stick. in other words it has throttle, pitch and yaw but it does not have a roll axis. i would get this for a little kid or for someone who wants to get into the RC hobby. if you are a more serious pilot or looking to get into the hobby for real, this won’t help you unless you are an absolute beginner. overall great product but its kinda for kids.

My son is 10 and loves remote helicopters but has had a lot of trouble flying other similar brands. This has a lot of neat features that make for a much more enjoyable time using it. The features definitely will help this last longer because of the auto hover and landing features. It’s easy to maneuver around which is very unlike all of the others we have had in the past. My son had a lot of trouble with the others, constantly running them into the walls or crash landing it to the ground or the floor. In comparison this was way easier to fly and control. The lights and ability to change colors with the lights are also awesome features. Overall it’s a really fun toy and it is good for beginners or younger kids who are ready for flying toy helicopters. This is for sure the one to try for starting out, with all the features it’s much less frustrating to fly and I’m positive it will last longer by him not being so prone to crashing it. I think he had one or two small crash landings before he figured all the buttons out, but it didn’t break and is still as good as new. It comes with more than one battery which is also great, once the first one dies you have a back up to keep playing for longer without having to stop to charge it. It’s a little noisy but most are. The value on this one is definitely great, the features alone are well worth it. My son has never had so much fun with a flying device, usually he ends up frustrated and gives up not long into playing with them but this one is actually enjoyable and easy to fly and maneuver around. He loves it, well worth it! So glad we got this one and not another brand! Highly recommend!

I bought this remote control helicopter for my grandson who is six years old. He loves it. You can change the colour of the lights and it’s very easy to operate. He lives in a home with two-story, vaulted ceilings and has a great time flying it in the house. It’s light enough that it doesn’t damage the walls or the paint when he bumps into them, which he often does. My 35-year-old son likes it as much as my grandson. Great purchase!

I gave this to my grandson for Christmas and he had a blast with it. It is very responsive to the controllers choices. I should of had him practice in a area without people and valuables around 😉 The blades swing around pretty fast and actually scratched a beautiful portrait on the wall. Other than that, it looked exactly as advertised. The noise is very minimal, just enough to make it more fun. It was a small but decent size. I wouldn’t want it much bigger for the kids. Nice color. It is nice that when it crashes, it shuts off the blades before allowing it to damage itself. If it did get damaged, it comes with extra blades and is able to be repaired on your own. Good Purchase
My biggest concern was whether or not this mini copter would fly at the 8,000 ft altitude in which I live. The manufacturers claimed it would, and they were right…to a degree. It does indeed fly here, but for a much shorter duration than at sea level. I get five minutes of flight before it has too little power to stay airborne in such thin air. I’m a bit disappointed in that, but with two batteries, I can still have some indoor flying fun, and recharging takes less time since I’m only partially draining the batteries. The simplest solution for me is to buy two more batteries, and those are available for a reasonable price.

First of all, this is a very light and small helicopter and AAA batteries (not included) are needed for the remote controller.It turned out to be more fun than I thought it would be to fly it. The instructions could be better but suffice. I appreciate its push button takeoff and landing and the gyro stabilizes it quite well. I found the flight controls easy to master. The color changing option looks great at nightMy runtime was a little less than the advertised 15-17 minutes: I managad about 13 minutes per battery.TIP: Do not use outside unless there is absolutely no wind at all – anything above 4 mp/h and you won’t be able to fly against the wind direction!!Indoors is great – just be aware & prepared for turbulence caused by ceiling fans and blowing AC vents.

Easy to learn to operate

We bought this for our 3 year old grandson for Christmas. When he opened he loved it but it looked so delicate we thought it would break pretty quickly, but we have been pleasantly surprised how durable it is (it’s survived multiple crashes indoors and out) and he can fly it himself with no help from adults. It’s the best gift we got him this Christmas. The adults play with it too. We’ve lost it a few times because it goes pretty high and if you’re not used to controlling it, it’ll take off over the house and down the street. It’s a great toy!

We have loved this helicopter for so many different reasons. It flies so smooth that my 6 year old son was easily able to pick up on the controls. The auto land is our favorite feature as it helps avoid crashes. He loves being able to change the color depending on what imaginary action he is playing with the helicopter. My favorite feature is the double batteries that are sent along with the charge cord. Because there are two we always have one ready to go when the one we’re using dies and needs to recharge. Great heli for entertainment, but it’s a little different for controls
It has great RGB for flying in the night and/or dark. Very easy to fly as long as it’s indoors without wind. Controls are a bit confusing because the rudder/turn controls are on the right stick instead of the left, along with no right to left movement controls. It has great stability when hovering, and it stays at the same height when you let off the sticks. Cheap fun for children, very durable, it would be a great birthday present. Cheaper and funner than other rc helicopters on Amazon. It’s fairly small and it would be easy to take on the road. The remote is a bit small for my hands but seams to be durable and easy to use. Overall I would give this product 4 stars🌟 .

This helicopter is a hit for my two toddler boys. The helicopter functioned very well and it was easy to figure out how to fly it. The control must be double shifted to activate the Bluetooth and turn on the rotor which was good for safety and avoiding the children to fly it on their own. Keep battery charged to fly appropriately— product comes with extra batteries! Lights change as well which is also fun for the kids.

This helicopter doesnt want to veer in a random direction, which makes challenges ( like landing on a tower of plastic cups) way more fun and achievable for people of all skill levels.The battery has a decent life to it, and having two in the set is quite convenient .I really liked being able to change the color of the helicopter. If you can convince your friends to each buy this helicopter, differentiating between them would not be an issue.To start up the rotor, you need to push up on the left toggle, but the rotor will just spin without enough lift to take off. To “activate” lift off, you’ll need to do the same action again. If you don’t lower the toggle once you do that, the helicopter will shoot up. So be careful not to ram your helicopter into the ceiling. I was surprised by this, and my friends were too. But the helicopter can withstand beating pretty well, and that function is pretty easy to get used to.Overall, very fun toy. Would recommend.

We had such a fun time when we gave this to our grandson for his bday. Grampa tried to help get it set up to fly. Our grandson who turned 12 said that’s ok I can do. We were a little worried. We didn’t want it to be broken before he got to fly it. Next thing you know he was flying it all over the place. The beautiful colors it can change to, Fancy!! He was thrilled!!! Really easy to fly…
I’m 85, and I started flying RC when I was a kid, but haven’t done so for several decades now.I thought about getting a drone with a camera. But I was unsure if I still had the reflexes to control one now.The reversal thing with the aircraft coming toward you or going away is always a problem that you learn to handle without thinking when you get experienced.Due to the weather, I’ve only been able to fly it in the house, but It was really easy to fly.It restored my confidence that I still have the basics, and I can’t wait for some nice weather, so I can fly it outside.The automatic take-off and land are helpful, especially in a confined area.

I ordered this BUSSGO RC Helicopter for myself to fly around the house and tease the cats with, and it is so much fun flying this thing around.This helicopter is easy to use and does not take long learning how to fly it. What I really like is the one button push takeoff and landing. I love how this comes with 2 rechargeable batteries and that both can be charged at the same time with the provided charging cable. What I did not really like was how the power button to turn the helicopter on is so small and semi hidden amongst the stickers and it took me a few minutes to find it even with the instruction book. I also do not like having to pair the remote with the helicopter every time it has been off for a while (once should be enough) Overall, a fun to fly helicopter that I have a blast with flying around the house and letting the cats chase it around.

My son loves this helicopter. It is easy to fly and also flies fast and high! The only downside is when the helicopter crashes it disconnects from the remote but it’s easy to reconnect. It came quickly, and as my son put it, it was “very cool”. The fact that it has a rechargeable battery is very convenient, since it doesn’t suck down batteries. It fly’s nicely, and my son has a ton of fun flying it around. There is a bit of a learning curve, but that comes with any RC helicopter or car. Highly recommend.

I got this for the kids to play with and they love it. It’s easy to charge and seems to hold a charge for quite a while. It’s a little tricky if you wanna play outside with it in the wind but it’s fine to play with inside as well.Actually, I am really happy with that. Perfect for Beginners
Purchased this helicopter for my 8 year old grandson and couldn’t be happier. We reviewed the start up procedures a few times and the remote control functions and he was up and flying. The fact that it lights up and changes colors is a bonus as it adds the ability to fly at night. Seems to be very durable and having two batteries allows for extended flying.

Kids love playing with this helicopter. It has a great lift-off/land button. The only issue is that this is a bit smaller than other ones we have owned (my fault for not reading description). Keep that in mind when looking at this one. I also like the fact that it comes with 2 rechargeable batteries. Good choice unless you want a bigger sized one.

Decent quality, good run time, excellent beginner copter …
This is a decent beginner helicopter.The USB charger completes both batteries at once in about 30 minutes to fully charge. The quality is good and I learned to fly it in about 3 minutes, hit the wall and the ceiling accidentally, but with no damage – durability is nice !(Patience, read the instructions, and e-a-s-y on the left control/ joystick on ascending -especially indoors).The seven LED light choice is cool looking 🙂 and a nice manufacturer option.Flight time and battery life seem good @ approximately 10 minutes per battery; decent.This is a fun little helicopter and would be decent as a beginner training copter to get into the hobby.(Because of the discipline required of the quickness of ascending and descending – I would recommend for age 14 minimum for indoor use; a younger child would be fine outdoors- it’s not a toy but it’s not professional; in between).I encourage you to buy it and I’ll buy another one.

I have a 4 year old who loved playing with this it had great signal and he loved every second playing with it. Sadly he flew it to close to a huge tree it got stuck and now were waiting till it drops to see if we can get it to work lol if it doesnt i will have to get another one because he loves it and so does his dad it was great to see them play together. For those who have tried RC helicopters in the past, this one is MUCH more stable than any I’ve tried before. I remember having to be pretty skilled to keep it off the walls and control it when I had my last one probably 6 years ago. This is very easy to fly!!My boys are 11 and 8, and the 11 year old did really well. The 8 year old did ok at first, but I’m sure will improve with practice.The remote control is easy to figure out, and easy to operate. The controls aren’t too loose, so you can control it easier.Battery life was good, and it includes 2 batteries. As is often the case, the boys are done playing before the battery runs out, so I know they last at least 15 minutes or so each.It comes with spare propellers as well, which I’ve not used yet but am glad they’re there.So far so good!

My 5 year old who loves remote controlled toys came to visit. The last time he was here, all he wanted was a remote control toy. The one I got him took hours to put together, and lasted two days, and was so upset. He just kept saying I want a remote control that works. I got him the helicopter, and it only took my daughter a half an hour to put it together. All the directions were clear, and the battery it comes with works. You have to charge it overnight, and then lo and behold it rose five feet, and my delighted five-year-old grandson was able to control it. Even though the five-year-old boy dropped it a few times it still works and I would recommend it to any parent or grandparent whose child loves technology and wants to buy it. It’s a really great inexpensive purchase compared to its capabilities. A friend of mine visited with her grandchildren. The 4-year-old little boy was mesmerized by the helicopter and my five-year-old grandson explained to him how to make it work what to look for when the colors come on when it’s ready and about the controls. My granddaughter is 8 and she also likes it so I would recommend it for 5 to 8-year-olds for sure.

I was really impressed with this toy helicopter. It arrived very well packaged and after charging the battery I was able to use it right away. It was probably a little too challenging for my 4 year old to control it but the 7 year old did fine with a little practice. The kids especially liked the ability to change the colors of the LEDs. It’s kind of loud but I think that’s to be expected.We were having so much fun with it but unfortunately someone flew it outside and lost it. It flew above the roof and disappeared. So I would say there is a reason the directions say for indoor use only. When you are outside there is a real risk of losing it because the range of the controller is pretty short.When flying it indoors I was pretty scared about the kids maybe flying it into somebody’s eyes. So if you’re paranoid like me I would definitely recommend eye protection.The helicopter does come with extra parts for replacement which I think is a nice touch.

Great Helicopter, easy to control + extra batteries
I’ve used many of these helicopters and this one ranks up there with the best of them. The controls are really easy, the left joystick controls the altitude, and the right joystick controls the movement. We’ve setup obstacle courses to fly through and the “challenge” has been really easy because of how nice it flies. You have a button to change the color of the light on the helicopter that makes it look completely different. My niece and nephew loved that part. It comes with spare parts in case something breaks, although it has been crashed a few times and nothing has broke. The propeller does turn off quickly when it detects a collision. Take off and landing is easy and it has a demo mode you can activate where it will just fly in a circle changing colors automatically. It comes with an extra battery so you can charge one while you use it and repeat that process.The only downside I have to it, is that it is very light; so a breeze will take over and throw it off course. I haven’t had much luck using it outdoors, so it is an indoor toy.

I bought this for my great grandson for his 5th birthday! Daddy is a helicopter pilot so while the latter was the biggest motivation, this thing is amazing! It has a range that is out of sight! I say that because at the pool party while birthday boy was swimming pilot daddy put it together and the next thing we know it is airborne and over the fence into trees tops somewhere. Please do test it in the house first and keep your hands on the remote. Probably read directions too! So, needless to say, the little guy was very upset so I ordered another one right then with strict instructions to dad. It is an amazing toy and does exactly what it says and he loves it! Great to take to the park, beach, outside anywhere without large trees if you don’t learn your remote first. Lol! He also plays with it in the house. Highly recommend!!!

I bought this remote control helicopter for my grandson who is six years old. He loves it. You can change the colour of the lights and it’s very easy to operate. He lives in a home with two-story, vaulted ceilings and has a great time flying it in the house. It’s light enough that it doesn’t damage the walls or the paint when he bumps into them, which he often does. My 35-year-old son likes it as much as my grandson. Great purchase!

I’ve been in the RC hobby for about 4 decades now and I’ve been looking for an RC helicopter that I can pass on the hobby to my daughters. This is a great model!The helicopter seems well built and durable. I did not read the directions and was able to get the helicopter flying in the air as everything seemed intuitive. The battery slipped in the helicopter nicely. We flown the helicopter for a total of 45 minutes. The helicopter crashed several times under my 4 and 5 year old’s control, yet the helicopter remains undamaged. The battery life is rated at 15-17 minutes each, I was able to get about 16 minutes of flight time, including several take offs and landing, before I got the red flashing battery low light. Knowing I had an extra battery was a great plus. The charger can charge 2 batteries at the same time using just 1 usb port. That is also a great plus.When I flew the helicopter, it was very stable. The helicopter stayed true to its alignment in all axis and did not require any trim adjustments. The stability is comparable to my other helicopters that cost several hundreds of dollars, but only with this helicopter, I can crash several times without damaging the helicopter. As soon as the helicopter main blades senses resistance, it stops and prevents further damage. This is the perfect toy to introduce my young daughters to fly helicopters because it is both stable and very durable.There are drawbacks to the helicopter, inherent to all helicopters, and that is the blades themselves that can hurt children if it is flown near their faces or open skin. Therefore, adult supervision is a must. I’ve flown the helicopter into me purposely, and with normal clothing, did not cause a scratch to my skin. The second drawback is that this is not a 3D helicopter, meaning it does not have collective pitch and therefore, cannot fly upside down.There are two cool features on the helicopter. The first is a button that changes the color on the helicopter. That feature was a great hit with the kids. The second feature is equally impressive, auto takeoff and landing!Overall, this is a great little toy to give to the kids and they should pick up the flying pretty quickly. Thus far, if I was going to pick a helicopter to someone who has never flown a helicopter, this would be my number 1 pick!

Fun but stopped working fast – seller replaced
*updated 4.18* seller reached out to me and offered a free replacement, the new one has already outlasted the old one so maybe the first one I got was faulty.So the good, super fun toy that doesnt take more than a few minutes to pick up and learn the controls. My son was flying it all over the house with great accuracy after a few practice flights. Batteries seem to last a while, charge fast, and you get 2 of them which helps lengthen the flight times. The bad, it just stopped working around the 3rd week, the rear rotor stopped getting power so you can no longer control it. Great fun while it lasted, but would have expected it to last a bit longer than it did.

The Bussgo helicopter is a lot of fun to fly. It is easy to learn the remote control and my grandkids absolutely love flying this helicopter. The 7+1 LED light modes are a nice touch, as you can change the light colors of the helicopter in mid flight. The copter comes with 2 rechargeable batteries which gives you extended flight time. Also, the Bussgo helicopter is very durable. Although it looks and feels a little delicate when you first take it out of the box, this little helicopter has crashed numerous times and is still flying high. The helicopter also comes with spare propeller blades. For the price, this is a good helicopter to learn to fly before you move on to a more expensive model. One thing I might add, this helicopter is very light so any small breeze outside pushes the copter in the wrong direction. That’s where the kill button on the remote comes in handy. Indoors without any breeze, the helicopter flys with no problem. Great fun, buy your today.
